There are two potential outcomes to bringing a girl to game night, and one has a subset of outcomes.

It's not OP's job to enforce this. It's his job to host a consistent "game night" and protect it from eroding influences. Maybe Katie will be constructive and it'll turn out okay- but how could he be certain?

I've seen a lot of "male spaces" just completely implode from this kind of thing. Does it happen all the time? No. Is it a scary prospect to have your friend group go nuclear because of something that's been a major issue in the past? Of course.

This. My group had a movie night thing we'd do every couple of weekends. We'd have spirits, bbq roast and cigars outside before going into my friends movie room and watching some movies. One night one brought his gf. She got smashed before the movies began, during the movies she'd constantly shout and make other noises (discussion of the movie is ok but shouting "WOAAHH" or "SO COOOOOL" is not). She then got pissy when we wouldn't play some gay fucking romantic comedy she wanted, proceeded to go upstairs to my friends bedroom and throw up all over his bed.
The friend with the gf insisted it was all our fault, the friend who's house it was told her to clean it up and the two friends got into a fight. Nobody talks to each other any more.
