I wouldn't say its shit, but its no longer an RPG at heart and its replay value is virtually none. Bethesda really dropped the ball in their attempt to make a modern fallout game. They took too much from shooters to appeal to a wider audience, cut down too much fat, and left us with something polished but lacking substance.
Can't wait to see what obsidian does with it.

Fallout 4 was a good game. They changed a few things and it takes some getting used to, but the game was entertaining. Only some oldfag hardass who played Fallout 1 would say it's shit. And the retard you replied to doesn't even understand the meaning of objectively.

Fallout 2 isn't that old and fallout 3 and 4 are objectively bad. They have little to do with the series. At least when final Fantasy played around with their game style tactics was brilliant. BethusdaBethesda hasn't done a single good thing since morrowind. The sooner they go bankrupt the better. Duke nukes forever took forever to come out. Fallout 1 and 2 are completely outdated games and can't even be enjoyed anymore. Too slow, you have no idea where to go, no idea what quest you are doing right now and the battles are so slow and tiring, I don't what kind of person would go through the pain to acutally play the entire game.
The only thing oldfags can say what's wrong with Fallout 3 and 4's story is that the BoS aren't completely isolated and dickish like they were in the first games. Boo hoo, that doesn't make it another unrelated Fallout universe.

Sure it's a little harder than press a to beat the game, but that's kind of the point. Go read a book or watch a movie if you want that kind of thing. The game tells you where to go, it just doesn't force it with bullshit railroad tracks. The quest you're on is the quest you took. The battles aren't slow unless you're slow. All your criticisms come only from your failures, completely unrelated to the game.
I really enjoyed fallout. They could have used any other series or made up a new universe to shit up. 3 and 4 are objectively shitty. They're subjectively shitty too, but that doesn't mean it's any less shit.
