It'd probably be hell if you have lived a 1000 years but I'd take that risk.
People will definitely think of you as some kind of god, after some time you will be the most well known person on the planet and even if humanity dies there's a lot of exploring to do.
Anyway, it has it's downsides.
You could have asked the old standard of invisibility or flight. Personally I'd go with invisibility
