Legit great album. Probably the last truly good thing they did. They really were so great in the 80s
>>24953785
Feels album.
Tool - AEnima
>non-ascii text is not allowed.
How about fuck you
My favorite since I listened to it, also happened to come across it during a pretty good period of my life.
>>24953785
War was a killer album. Although it's the only one by U2 that I like. I might go back and listen to The Joshua Tree again.
i love this album so much, even if it is just rose tinted glasses

Fucking brilliance, Bob at his lyrical peak
>>24954575
This was the first album I ever bought, I have this feeling too, it's so nostalgic
>>24954676
I don't like Swans' gothic stuff so much
>>24954698
Don't know this
Pic related is 10/10
>>24955203
Oh they're definitely pretentious but I'm a simpleton and just think their tunes are catchy.
>>24955269
HE HAD A LOT TO SAY
HE HAD A LOT OF NOTHING TO SAY
Oh yeah, AEnima is their catchiest album by far, solid grooves and tight as fuck rhythm section
>not posting a link to their album
what's the fucking point?

>>24955203
Best taste ITT.
Couldn't pick one, but I'm listening to this atm so here ya go
>>24955457
The production on this is so recognisable, that heavy distortion married with the tight drum sound
>>24955453
I need to listen to this more
Never met anyone with my taste in music, I mostly listen to Dark Electro genres like EBM and Electro-Industrial, my favourite album at the moment is Dismantled's self-titled debut, which is a very unique EBM sound with massive layering and reverb'd out vocals. If he carried on in the same style I'm sure it would have eventually got its own subgenre name like 'EBM-Gaze' or something.
The album seems to have been removed from YouTube, but I found a Spotify link if you're interested:

>>24955828
sorry bruh but mmm food is his magnum opus
Not my favorite, but I've been into this album recently. Listening to someone shred is orgasmic.

>>24953785
Electric ladyland
>>24955875
i love mm food, don't get me wrong. its just that madlib's production style is made for doom. its a shame they don't want to release madvillainy 2 though, i need more material from them.

>>24955828
>>24955875
Great hip-hop, I enjoy Madlib's work with Gibbs better.
I have a few favorites, Funeral is one, but I think this takes the cake for me.
/mu/core crescendocore garbage but I love it to death
>>24957134
My favorite too
The /mu/ hate is a meme, it's one of the most critically acclaimed albums of all time, people just want hipster points because they listen to first-wave.
>>24957085
>I'm trying
>I'm trying to drink away the part of the day I cannot sleep away
; _ ;
>>24957134
I used to like that album much more than I do now, it was an important "holy fuck" album for me, but it just a little melodramatic. Still can make me cry though
>>24955828
Favorite here as well. Every time I hear it I get a verse stuck in my head.
Untrue
serenades by anathema
>>24957134
It's always been this and F#a#infinity for me, as far as GY!BE albums go.
Also, pic related is my favorite
The musical perfection
>>24957623

>>24957671
lol autism detected
Anyone who recognizes is based.
>>24957698
Thanks buddy
Pic related is also brilliant. It may not be as verbose as Highway 61, but musically it's more interesting, and 4th Time Around is beautiful
bomps
Entry level /mu/sic, but I have loved it ever since I first heard it. Nick was a beautiful guy.
>>24958316
Which way makes me cry
Also there's a reason why things are /mu/core
Best ever
who /smokeandskate/ here?
>>24957698
Dude you're on /r9k/. Everybody here has autism or asbergers.

>>24957591
good taste
i'd throw in some suggestions if you want to kill yourself
Crywank - Tommorow is Nearly Yesterday and Everyday is Stupid (the most raw and base depressing folk music i've ever heard, utterly self depreciating)
Salvia Palth - Melanchole (slow droney ambienty misery)
William Bonney - Good Vibes (this is screamo so take it or leave it but its lyrics are great and it crushes me)
And pic related, Carissa's Wierd - Songs About Leaving
>>24954457
One of the greatest albums of all time for sure
I remember this being the second ever rec I got from /mu/. I listened to it and I didn't feel it at all, I thought it was the worst album that I had ever listened to. A month or so later, I decided to give it another chance. During that playthrough, it "clicked" with me. I was hooked on to every riff and syllable fed to me by adam.
