No. i understand that the military is different after, but it was a wake up call for me that it's not cool or badass to be a soldier. It's really not worth it. I was very stubborn about joining and i thought i was ok with death and didn't give a fuck if i had to get my face blown off, but going there realized that i didn't want that shit. No matter how stubborn you are and how mentally fit you think you are, it will all change once you are there. You won't know how you react unless you are there.

Would include needing a psychological evaluation because they would train us in different firearms.. Im probably gonna fail the psych test and I really don't think I got what it takes to have that responsibility

It was funny, though. My entire time in separations no one would fuck with me because everyone thought I was special operations. You would not believe the shit people would talk up until you called them out on their bullshit. I almost got into a fight with a guy because he was picking on some young fragile looking kid and making smeagle jokes. The kid was really smart and knew all about the Pokemon meta game, and so my stupid, natural protective complex kicked in. Anyway, after the guy made a joke, I looked him straight in the eye and told him the fuck off, and he did. It felt great.
