I have an interview for a police officer job on Monday /r9k/. What do I tell them when they see on my personal history papers that I've never had a gf?
>>
I want to be a cop too but I'm afraid it's a job for supernormies. I don't have a passion for any of the typically "robot" jobs but my shitty personality/genetics have fucked me over.

maybe you could try making up a girlfriend or something? like creating a character with just enough info to be believable and telling them you don't keep in touch anymore? I don't like the idea of lying in this situation but you have to do what you have to do, normies have simply stacked the cards so highly in their favor.
>>
>>24943476
bro there is no conceivable way that they wouldn't uncover that in the background check.

I mean being a 21 yo with no former SO isn't that weird right? For all I know they might assume I'm some Chad who gets laid but is too much of a douche to actually date anyone.
>>
This might be seen as an asset if you play it off right.

They probably like the idea of someone without a partner that has the potential to fuck things up or distract the cop from his duties.

Cops have really high rates of affairs within marriage as well. The men are always fucking the women in those offices.
>>
>>24943538
>gets laid but is too much of a douche to actually date anyone
And this is a disqualifier how? I know tons of successful businessmen and tradesmen who fit that description, and in social situations they're great friends and coworkers. Even dating, it's kinda mainstream now, you might not even necessarily be a jerk to women -- lots of women prefer that sort of thing when they're young.
>>
Why do you wanna be a cop op? What would be your stance on victimless crimes?

Would you give a texting and driving ticket to someone in a drive through?
>>
>>24943681
>And this is a disqualifier how?
Literally the opposite of what I was implying.
>>
i can't imagine a robot getting a cop job. you have to be quite a normie for that. plus psych diagnosis and medication disqualify most here.
>>
>>24943927
>Why do you wanna be a cop op?
I want to fight for justice.

>What would be your stance on victimless crimes?
I'd be as lenient as I can get away with but I'd do my job.

>Would you give a texting and driving ticket to someone in a drive through?
No.

LEO reporting. Seriously if you are so fucking scared of normie culture & of not having a GF then this job is not for you. There is & you will see many worse things on the job. Congrats on wasting an interview slot.
>>
>>24944504
>Seriously if you are so fucking scared of normie culture & of not having a GF then this job is not for you.
I'm pretty cowardly in general desu but I figure I'll just fake it till I make it.

Will they question my lack of gfs?

Deputy here.
Also a virgin, and I'm 29. No one ever asked about that, that's not the kind of shit they're worried about. In fact, I'd wager someone who has no attachments and nothing to lose is more valuable than someone who could potentially die and leave behind a spouse. Then again, I'm a deputy for the sheriff's office in a very small town, there's only three other deputies, so maybe they just don't give a fuck, and the standards are more stringent for a big city cop.

Becoming a cop is a joke in the states and the training is pathetic and short compared to other countries, come to Australia and you'll fail within the first 12 minutes of the psychology test which last up to 4 hours.
>>
>>24944575
well the city department I'm applying for is trying to grow its department by 1000 officers within the next few years. I figured their desperation for recruits would play to my advantage.

Look if you really want to get a first hand look on what it's like , call your local department & ask if you can do a ride along with one of their Officers.

You won't just "fake it" with your department , you will also have to "fake it" when dealing with civilians , perps & juries
>>24944613
Yea it's a joke , literally this is the requirements for the county a few hours down

Why would a robot even try? I've heard there are dozens of applicants for every position.
>>

>>
>>24943367
Something about how it's niggers' fault, and you're hoping to cap as many of 'em as possible to make up for it.
>>
>>24944708

why dont they lower male standards to those of females if it is apparently acceptable? now that would be real equality.

women shouldnt be in the military nor anything that requires brute force, thats fucking retarded.

fuck off with your equality, security is at stake.

>>24944891
If you are talking about ride alongs, some departments have a monthly limit to how many civilian ride alongs are along. This doesn't apply if you are in the Explorer program though.

Why would they try? Because they want to be a Cop, if anyone really fucking wants it they are going to do what it takes to get it.

If this helps , one of our dudes in SRT is a 34 year old virgin

>>24945006
Are you fucking kidding me? Look up on age demographics for the force

Many dudes who just finish their military contracts are in their mid 20's & get hired all the time

>>24945071
Sorry dude, it's already to late to argue with that. It will only get more progressive from here
>>
>>24944575
>>24944613

Maybe this is true in small towns. In larger cities it's fucking impossible without nepotism or being a meganormie.

I know what the OP is worried about because I went through it too. I applied for a civilian position with the police department in a large city in California. Not even trying to be a cop, and the hiring process was going to take over a year. I dropped out about 7 months in because I knew I wasn't going to make it. After being, "tentatively hired," for surviving the numerous tests/interviews/evaluations/minor background checks, they gave me a 55-page package for a, "thorough background investigation." I had a detective assigned to me who'd job was basically to stalk me and look into everything I had ever done in my life. I had to provide him with contact information for every person I ever dated (no one), every person I ever lived with (no one), everyone I ever worked with, teachers, landlords, and an endless list of friends (none). All in all they wanted about 20-25 personal references, ("People who can vouch for you") and at least 50 contacts in total.

I told my background investigator the truth: "Look bro, I'm gonna be honest with you. I'm mostly a shut in. I don't have any friends. I've never dated anyone. I have a few co-workers, but my 'team' is small and I don't know anyone else at work. Most of the sheets in this package are going to be empty." He told me outright that being a fucking weirdo would disqualify me, and I had to provide lists of contacts that spanned my life. The Lieutenant (or whatever it was) would never approve a package from someone with a small social circle.

They get hired because they just finish a military contract. Can a 25 year old ex-NEET become a cop?
>>
>>24945427
They are going to ask you why you haven't been employed in the past years & what you have been doing in your life.
>>
>>24945568
What do I tell them?
>>
>>24945646
They will ask you why you have been NEET.

I don't know , I have never been in your position so I can't assiste you
>>
>>24945707
I'll tell them I was searching for purpose in my life, and that I believe policeman officer is the purpose I need.

I'll also say my family came from a military background but I'd prefer to help the people in my country directly than fight foreigners outside of it. Maybe that will help my case.

WTF a swat dude is a kv? Are you serious?

Is he like a warrior monk or something? Couldn't he easily just make a tinder with him in his uniform and start drowning in pussy?
>>
>>24945427

>>24945389 here. RE: being NEET - For where I applied, they also do credit checks on you and evaluate your ability to handle finances in general. There was a section in my background packet where I had to list how much I earned each month, how it's earned, how much goes to taxes, a breakdown of monthly expenses, how much I put into savings, how much I have in savings/checking accounts in total, etc. They do this not just to verify that you're not getting any money or stuff illegally, but also that you're a "responsible" person (because normies think a good credit score is somehow synonymous with responsibility).

We also had to provide a 10-year history of wages and income via official IRS documents.

You're not applying for a job at a grocery store. They aren't going to accept BS answers like >>24945741. If you don't exactly fit the mold they're looking for and/or your family or friends aren't already in the club, you're not getting in.

1. Shooting guns at the range
2. Working out
Above all else

that makes me feel better senpai, I know with the generation raised by the internet and feminists I won't be the only applicant they get whose never had a gf.

I'm just gonna do my best, shoot straight, and if it doesn't work out, no big deal. I can try again later.

This is the first part of my "relationships" section of my package. I didn't even recall that they wanted the girls' employer and parents' contact info, too. Har har.

Out of curiosity, I asked my investigator what they meant by "relationship or casual dating." He told me, "A serious relationship is pretty self explanatory. For casual dating, personally I consider that more than two dates or 'hook-ups'." So basically every person you've ever had sex with a few times, or anything more than that.
>>
>>24946189
Well that will be easy to fill out. N/A, right fellas?

Hahaha.. ha..
>>
>>24946079
If you take your career seriously you would never do that , the uniform represents not just you , but the authority you hold & use & the department you work for.

Mixing up personal & work stuff is a no-no!

Also pro tip , never take any videos/photos of any crime related shit on your personal phone because it can & will get subpoena'd & you won't see that phone for a while
>>
>>24946189
hey do they ask any questions regarding child porn /jailbait during the lie detector
>>
>>24946261
Yes and they will arrest you on the spot.
>>
Wow I'm so fucjing stupid for taking criminal justice god damn it what the fuck

I refuse to take any job that wants to infiltrate my personal life

Fuck cops and fuck you for being a pig anyway
>>
>>24946261
I dropped out before the lie detector part because of what I mentioned above, but I assume they would. I was asked about it repeatedly in interviews and automated questionnaires. I work in IT and the investigator kept bringing it up. "Even if you saw something accidentally on the internet, or if you ever saw it while working on someone else's computer. You need to disclose all of that." I told him I "probably saw some things when I was younger, posted on message boards by trolls," (thanks 4chan) but couldn't recall specific events.

My understanding is that during the polygraph it's like:

"Have you ever..."
"Yes."
"Describe that."
>tell the story
"Other than what you've already disclosed, have you ever..."

And it goes on like that until you admit to everything. So if you have a collection of CP you can't say, "Yes, once on accident," and just move on. But again I'm not certain of this because I didn't make it that far.
>>
>>24946400
Wtf is this real? How would they even know if you lied given how bullshit lie detectors are?

Do they ask about escorts?
>>
>>24946491
I don't know, but as far as I know all law enforcement uses polygraph exams as part of the hiring process. Honestly the biggest jaw-drop I took away from my experience is, how the fuck are there so many bad cops? My only explanation is that nepotism plays a huge role in hiring, or they're extremely lenient on guys with military backgrounds.

My investigator told me a bunch of anecdotes about how people got caught lying, which is an automatic disqualification. They stress over and over that lying is worse than anything you might want to lie about (though if you have a collection of bodies in your basement, I think there's an exception). I don't know if he was bullshitting me, but the general theme was that they interview your 30, 40, 50 contacts and someone let's something slip.

Regarding escorts, I can only recall one time that sort of came up. Early on there was a scantron tests with like 200 questions on it about Bad Behavior, and there were a few questions about, "Exchanging money, goods, or services for sexual favors," or something like that. There was a series of these tests (either computerized or scantron at the station) that asked the same questions throughout the process, and the same questions re-worded throughout the same test, to test for consistency.

Well, for whatever it's worth, there are other guys in this thread saying they work for small counties and stuff, and they didn't have to go through this shit. Like I said, I was applying (for a civilian position!) for a large department in California. Maybe it's more relaxed elsewhere.

You could also maybe do some boring administrative legal thing outside of the police club. Or you could get paid way less and be in far more danger as a corrections officer.

No, I'm from out of state and I'm doing my physical test, interview, medical, psych and polygraph all in one week.

Stay tuned, on Monday night I'll post a thread about the interview and if they asked me about my tfw no gf. Though maybe I won't really get grilled on that until the background investigator looks at my file.
