Anyone who lives in britain or europe I would like to ask.
Do you think living in the countryside comfy, I am asking because I thinks it's quite nice
> far away from many cities and the noise the city brings
>surrounded by country life and many forests or fields perfect for many winter or summer afternoon walks (that is of course if there is a pathway that goes past a field)
>people will leave you alone at first but over time after talking to the community (and being white) they might accept you

I want to know /R9k/ opinion and see if this is comfy.

GrEw up country side in austria, beauitful landscape, most people or nice and friendly, used to smoke a loy of weed with my friends on sunny days in Ghe woods or on some fields tripping on shrooms
Living in the counrty is nice but boring when you are younger

Drenthe Native speaking here.

Not true.

Yesh every square metre seems cultivated, and it might be. But it doesn't look like it is.

>live a little bit outside a pretty big city
>cold wet and dark
>the few houses around where I live just have old people
>difficult to go anywhere without car
>25 minutes bus into town and 30 minutes walk to bus stop
I moved here when I was 15, 24 now. I don't know anyone. The only thing I can do is sit in the basement with my computer.

Heuj Oetz.

Behold Drenthe's capital, very rural as you can see, this is as close to the city center as you can get.

Natuur is zo gebasseerd.

I grew up in the countryside of Wales and live in Manchester, UK now. Its comfy in one way, there are the occasional chavs and shitheads, but it is mainly older people whose main concern is whether you're trespassing on their land.

You need to be able to drive, where I lived it was about 30 minutes drive to the nearest shop, and about an hour to a school, there are little communities, but to be honest I always hated it, everyone is so pompous, and they feel some sort of privilege because they live in a more expensive house and have land. It wan't particularly quite, the people in the field across always had loud equipment, there was a RAF testing site nearby, and there were always people on loud bikes driving around. Not to mention the community always coming round with some bullshit problem (ie "This person hasn't met the exact requirements on their planning permission for their backwall, lets all drive to the town to report this").

I am a reserved person and I don't really like people but I find it more comfortable here in Manchester (bigger city if you don't really know it). I can go to university nearby, I can literally go however long I WANT without talking to anyone. I even live in a shitty area, there was a shooting down the end of my road last week, but for some reason I always felt less safe in the country. It didn't help that the area I lived in didn't and still doesn't have phone reception or internet (If any of you were to move to the UK countryside, you need to check that, because I know a lot of Wales still doesn't have reception for GSM).
