>>
>>24937099
Honestly nothing much happens, I don't think. We hardly mention it in my time. I think I read about it in high school once but it wasn't a major thing at all.

And cusp of WW3? Not quite yet. If you even wanna call it that.

whats the next flavor mountain dew

>>
>>24937538
Absolutely nothing.

The ability for me to come onto here and talk about shit from the future hinges on the idea that no one important will believe me. The government gave me permission to come on here because an outlet like this is in no way credible and will not be taken seriously.
>>
>>24937578
Funny thing, we don't have Mountain Dew where I'm from. I'm not sure if that meant the company died or if it changed its name or something or what. I like it though. Soda from my time tastes like ass man. Enjoy soda before you become an old man bro.
>>
If you were from the future, wouldn't you already know what questions were asked?
>>
>>24937503
I will say this though, the next major war isn't about countries killing each other. It's a war fought through money, machines, and telling different Arabs to kill other countries' Arabs in the Middle East. WE call it a war, but I feel like your people wouldn't.
>>
>>24937702
In 2008 I came from the future to work for the government. I've been here ever since. I won't be born for a long time.
>>
>>24937722
Why should we care about Arabs in the future? Wouldn't most oil be depleted in your time?
>>
>>24937758
It's still quite rich I'd say. But your argument still holds, as we don't depend on oil nearly as much as you guys do in my time. But we do these things to control the economy of the less developed world, which does depend on oil. The superpowers of my time have found a crafty way to scrape money off of the transactions of what you guys call third world countries.
>>
Do you know how the "future" originally started contact with the "past"?

Nah we're fine.
Once actual dangerous shit starts happening due to global warming or whatever you'd like to call it, we come up with some nice technology to undo our mess. It really isn't as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. Our technology outweighs our damage and undoes it.

>>
>>24938080
Most people don't define themselves as straight or gay or bisexual or anything. Most people are either male or female, and 95% of the time date someone of the opposite gender, but sometimes people who you might define as "straight" might suddenly date someone of the same gender and it's totally normal. It's kind of like if your sister just dated a black guy all the sudden. She dated white guys all her life but now she's with Tyrone and you're like "oh." But it's not really a big deal.

And women are less bitchy and opinionated in my time. But on the other hand they're less...effeminate, I guess? It's hard to explain. Like there's a huge physical distinction between guys and girls in the way we dress and everything just like you guys, but like they act like guys. Or they "think like guys" I'd say. More than they do in this time at least.
>>
>>24938094
Unless you count like bacteria and stuff, no unfortunately. There's a lot of conspiracy theories about it though. When I see similar ones in this time period it makes me laugh.
>>

>>
HOW THE FUCK ARE THE VIDEOGAMES LIKE? HAVE THEY ALL BECOME INDIE SJW GARBAGE AND AAA TITLES?
>>
>>24938406
The last time I was allowed to be on this site, /pol/ didn't exist I think (or maybe I just never went there), so I don't know what you mean.

But the future is...er, there isn't really like LEFT VERSUS RIGHT like you guys have now. There's what's the right way to think and the less superior way to think. Everyone in developed countries of the west holds pretty similar beliefs. I wanna say it's progressive, but that implies that the leftists are right which is not true. Both are flawed, and will remain flawed until pitting the two ideologies against each other no longer makes money for people. When that comes, many countries will shift toward ideologies that are most optimal.
>>
>>24938450
We don't really have video games like you guys do. I LOVE your games. They all have stories and shit and it's pretty cool. Our "games" though are all kind of like movies that you're simulated in. You might be thinking "OH BOY VIRTUAL REALITY" and get an erupting boner but trust me when you grow up with it it's not a big deal at all. I guess for you it might be, but technology will ease into it so slowly that you'll be desensitized to it.

I recommend you go to jail and by the time your old come out and try it and it'll be swag af ma nigga u fil me?

>>
well, that means anything which would prove you're from the future or be at all interesting is out. so what is the point of this thread?
>>
>>24939461
No. Our speech is actually pretty different. I had to learn how you guys talk before coming here. It's such a fucking pain. You guys pronounce every. Single. Syllable. You don't understand how frustrating that is for someone like me lol.

But the answer is no. If I was in my time and I said 'lol', I don't even think people would know what I'm talking about unless they're into the whole internet thing. They'd probably think it means "lots of love".

Do you guys have that phrase here? I haven't encountered it yet but I'm told it's not exclusive to my time
>>
If I go and blow up the whitehouse right now, would you suddenly remember learning about the whitehouse exploding?
>>
>>24939487
Pretty much.

Also fun fact, relatively soonish contraception will reach rates very close to 100%. At that point people can have sex as much as they want with no risk of getting pregnant. American culture will change a lot due to that.
>>
>>24939534
>has been here for 8 years
>still confused about the mannerisms of people in this time period
>>
>>24939555
You won't do it. Therefore no. But if we're just going to be philosophical, then yes. Actually, if you do that, I wouldn't be here, or they would have denied my request to speak with you all. Therefore we would have never had this conversation, and you therefore would have never done it. But seeing as that is not the case (along with other factors), it will not happen.
>>
>>24939568
>contraception will reach rates very close to 100%
What caused it?
What's the view on Eugenics in your time?
How do you reproduce?

>American culture will change a lot due to that.

>>
>>24937503
No you fucking idiot the refugee problem is a big deal in 8th grade Pre-post-postmodern history
This is what happens when the commission lets underpaid rookies like you to travel.

Which timeport did you jump from? Let me guess, it was the north east international. They always do this kinda shit
>>
>>24939622
Let's just say a breakthrough in how we think of contraception.

Honestly I don't hear much discussion about it. It isn't something prevalent in our lives really. Sorry for the disappointment.

Most people (in the developed world) go to a pregnancy center to have children and are artificially inseminated for a number of reasons. Regular sex to get pregnant is considered barbaric.

I myself am not a European so I can speak best on behalf of America, but I'm certain that it changed European cultures as well. It just had the biggest impact on the United States due to the stigma and taboo related to sex. Americans know what I mean and you might too.
>>
>>24939568
>Also fun fact, relatively soonish contraception will reach rates very close to 100%. At that point people can have sex as much as they want with no risk of getting pregnant.

>from the future
>comes on a NEET board to talk about sex
>>
>>24939799
Another fun fact, people who would probably be NEETs in my time aren't. Your system is screwing you over man
>>
>>24939715
>Regular sex to get pregnant is considered barbaric.
I see it the same way but nowadays it's expensive the other way, it has low success rates and you don't get genetic modified superbabies, just Chad's sperm.

Is there a way to travel to the future?
Also what happens to books and TV?
I think in two generations there will be no television (via channels) anymore and in four books will be almost gone. My grandma is shocked by that thought and said it's blox.
>>
>>24939715
>stigma and taboo related to sex
but in our time the US is the most promiscuous and degenerate place there is, I would even say moreso than Brazil and Africa
>>
>>24938401
>>24937749
Man you just contradicted yourself
>>
>>24939892
In some parts of the universe you can travel forward in time, but here, you can only travel back in time. I will never return to my time.

Yeah we don't have televisions or TV shows really. Think of something similar to YouTube. Our entertainment is more that route.

We still have books! And schools still make us read them! But they're all files of text. No one really has printed books in my time. It's like seeing a typewriter.

There's a special award for the best authors of the world each year, and the winner receives their book as a hardback copy. Those (usually) are the only physical books still printed in my time I'd imagine.
>>
>>24939648
>>24939824
Answer me you rancid swine
>>
>>24939917
It is, but look at the way we censor things compared to other countries. Or the way your people teach sexual education. There's a huge stigma about sex, making it easy to exploit promiscuity for money. But that's not the case in my time. And we don't censor anything in our entertainment. But China still does! I find that funny.

Almost all cancers can be cured if you live in the developed world. And I don't think we have HIV either. I hadn't really heard about it before preparing to come here. But then again, it's very difficult to spread STDs in my time anyway. You can have protection against STDs and pregnancy without the use of condoms, so only STDs spread in like Africa or in extremely conservative Christian communities that are against all forms of contraception

Does Jeff Mangum successfully bring Anne Frank back to the future?

Oh my god yes. And it sucks because I can't tell anyone the irony. If I just turn on the news everything is hilarious. And all of that "BY 2050 SCIENTISTS PREDICT THAT _______." My sides man.

I can't tell you. I work for the United States government but I can't say much more than that. And between most of 2010 and a little bit of 2015, I had very little contact with the public.

I wanna say no, because we don't have SJWs in my time, but because we have muuuuuch more social equality in my time, it makes me wonder if it's because the SJWs won the war. It's weird.

So like if I said "I hate niggers", no one would get mad at me, that's true, but it would be kind of weird because no one thinks like that. I guess it's a cultural difference of politeness.

My parents aren't from here and they say it's a quiet shithole, I think they're right, as in it's a boring place to visit but decent place to live in. I personally dislike the SJWfest that it has always been (not just IN 2015!!1!). As to what regards living in recluse, I think the gv't can support you well with autismbux, especially in recent times due to Trudeau. Still, best place for neetbux is Scandinavia

Hi Timewarp Tom.
I have a real big question for you. I'm going to kill myself before the end of the year.

Do you think it could be a good idea to delay suicide some years to see them if I have a really unbearable life, or should I go?

Another question: how do you view suicide in your time?
>>
>>24942484
We defeated it for the most part. Honestly if it was gonna kill you all today and it was an emergency, with your current technology you could save the world. That's what humans eventually do.
>>
>>24942494

Whoa!
First of all thanks for your answer.
Can you tell us in which way he will be a revolutionary? Will he fight against unfair economic distribution of wealth, against feminism, against western supremacy... ?

Are aliens and shit hanging around with the population, or at least have they made some form of contact???
>>
>>24942517
I think you should wait a while before doing it. Honestly if you can bear it, I'd hold out as long as you can.

People don't really kill themselves in my time. The social conditions are good and keeping citizens happy and mentally healthy is a priority. Because of that, if you can hold out long enough then you'll eventually be freed from whatever you're going through. Maybe not freed, but life won't be shit you know.

If someone said they were gonna kill themselves then it would be a really strange thing to hear. It's like somone saying "I think I'm gonna shoot up my school at the end of the year". It just sounds weird and kind of creepy.

How can you be sure your answers won't affect the future?
IMHO every one could do this, i.e. you just told in the post

maybe the biggest answer of all the topic, saying there will be an italian revolutionary, and his nickname.
Let's say the guy who asked you about italian famous people (who's italian, I bet) will become "cielo" in a few years, or maybe he'll talk about this topic to his little brother who'll become "cielo", or some shit like this.

Won't this be a time paradox that you created?
