What American dialect are you /r9k/?

Live in New York so I guess it figures, but I've lived in a lot of places. Mostly large cities, so I tend to speak normally, and with out any quirky funny (see: inane) words for things and for that I'm very grateful.

Like pop, who the fuck says this, I can see maybe soda pop but pop just sounds dumb. I caught myself saying it after living in a suburb near Chicago for a few months and every time I did I would take a 5 out of my pocket and tear it up, probably took a hundred dollars to set me straight but it was well worth it

There are more deer and elk here than moose, especially young deer.
There are (almost) no native ruminants in the badlands; it's a moderate desert composed of mesas, some green.
Nunavut is fairly far and distinct, and poutine is an American thing. What's popular here is beef, venison, or elk in a spice based off of a pickling rub for a deli meat. Served kind of like a steak sandwich with a grilled baguette with garlic butter. Pretty much everyone has had it and has liked it whereas poutine is only popular with youths..

This stupid thing actually got something right, I was born in Rhodeisland.
>>24926230
Actually the Danelaw didn't really get much of a foothold north of the river tees, so the Geordie accent is closer to how the Anglo-Saxons would have spoke than the vikings (who would have sounded more like Yorkshire or East Anglia)
We still have Norwegian loanwords like hjem for home and bairn for child (even though its barna or something in norwegian)
