It's like asking a watch collector "why would you need 7 watches?" Of course he doesn't *need* 7 watches; he's not going to wear all 7 on one arm or anything. At a minimum, he might have a watch for daily use, a fancy watch that he wears on special occasions, and a super rugged watch for hiking or something, but, it's not like necessity is the only factor with regards to his purchases. It's similar with firearms. He probably owns 7 because he likes collecting them and shooting them, just like most other gun owners. Honestly, 7 is pretty tame as far as firearm collecting goes.
I mean, are you insinuating 7 guns is too much, or somehow dangerous? I don't know, do you envision him as some sort of octopus man that can shoot 7 guns at once and still have a hand to jerk off onto dead children with?
And I don't even mean to get into some big gun control discussion, if you have a problem with someone owning a gun in general that's something else entirely, I'm just simply pondering why exactly people specifically bring attention to someone owning several or many firearms as if it means something. I mean, again, if your problem is the fact that firearms are dangerous, owning 7 guns doesn't make him any more "dangerous" than someone that owns 1.
