I've gone to a small, local barber all my life so I don't know the feel of having chicks cut your hair or having it washed or anything. Switched to a buzzcut a few years ago on a whim, so that's hard for them to fuck up. Then I just go like two months later when my hair has grown out. Around $15 every two months is good enough for me.
I just got a photo right after a haircut at the barbershop I went to since I was 5 or so.

I've been going to the same guy for like 8 years now. I walk in say hi, he cuts my hair and I dont have to say anything at all. He always does a good job. When I first went and saw him I just told him to cut it how he thinks he should cut it and he did. I only go about once every 4-5 months because he does such a good job it grows out perfectly, I pay 30$ for a haircut though.
