I played from the original anime until Yugioh GX. I lost interest when the game was getting overly complex, monsters and spell/trap cards were having ridiculous effects and everything was about fusion. It was like normal monsters didn't even exist anymore and every card was overpowered and too easy to summon.

I played for the entirety of 5Ds with a Zombie deck. Fun as fuck and could hang with all the meta at the time since they were all graveyard-centric

Ugh I started playing yugioh in middle school when I was on a different lunch than my friend from elementary school who was in the mtg club. My lunch was more yugioh oriented so I started buying cards. Yugioh is a better game, I miss it sometimes. Maybe I should try and get back into it, but I probably won't.

What I meant is that magic can be expensive, and older cards are stupidly broken in some formats, but yugioh's constantly updated banlist is terrible because it established a meta based on current cards, which means everyone rocks the same 4 decks competitively. Envoy is unbanned because noone really uses it anymore, heck people are even side decking raigeki because destroying all of your opps monsters just isn't that good anymore. The game has changed, though I honestly prefer this to whatever slow as fuck stall shit they had in the old days.

It deals with problematic cards and in worst case goes 1 for 1. There are several non-meta players at my locals, and it helps beat every single one of their decks. Stuff like Dark Worlds and Battlin' Boxers will just smack me around if I don't run it.

I liked 2, but a guy at my locals recently started playing a lot of stall decks. Helps a lot with that. I still want to take it out, but I don't know what to replace the 3rd copy with.

Serene Psychic Witch, searches any of my low level Kozmos and makes sure they won't get killed in battle before I get the chance to use it.

In normal Kozmos it's awful, but I special summon so little in this deck it's fine. Even 3 works without much trouble as the deck works very differently than normal Kozmo decks.

Drastic Drop Off is the easiest and most guaranteed way to get a quick 1 for 1. The moment they start their turn, you just activate it and you both lose a card. It's pretty good in slow decks that you just need to fill out with something, which is exactly my case.

Serene is just kind of a filler. I can't run more than 3 copies of Goodwitch, but it gets the same end result after getting destroyed, and that happens pretty quickly and painless most of the time anyway. Need my small Kozmos to bully the opponent around with my big ships.
Emergency Teleport costs a bit more money than I'm comfortable with spending. Also, it's not nearly as good when you can't afford Farmgirl anyway. Serene does pretty much the same job, almost better in this deck anyway.
D.D. Warrior Lady just outs everything at my locals, just like D-prison.

Me and my buddies been getting back into Yugioh for fun, went through my old cards and decided to make a VWXYZ Light/Machine contact fusion deck.
I got some Shining Angels, Honest, utility spells/traps like MST and seven tools, shit like that plus some union monster support like frontline base.

The deck is not meant to fight meta decks with, only other budget decks. Again, D.D Warrior Lady and Dimensional Prison have very good match-ups against what I'm up against at my locals. What part of this do you not get? I've done a fair amount of testing, and cutting one of each would be a good idea if I knew what to replace them with that doesn't cost more than $5 a piece. The thing is, I still haven't heard any suggestions of such cards.
And no, I still don't want to buy the E-tele. It hasn't done well in testing at all when I borrowed a single copy from a friend the other day simply because my deck is so slow and lacks Farmgirl. Try copying my deck, putting in the Emergency Teleports and see for yourself.
