Got a gen chem exam tonight at 7:30 pm.
It's currently 8:56 am EST.
I've been unknowingly studying mid term past papers, where only a third of the material will be from the mid term while 2/3 of the exam is new shit I didn't start studying for yet.
This exam is worth 42% of my final grade and I need to get at least an 80% on it to pass my course. Fuck everything.

Gen Chem is easy. They will give you all the equations and you just have to plug and chug. A monkey could do it with just a day's worth of real study and practice. You do need to understand all the concepts as well in order to understand how to use the equations, but that shouldn't be hard to learn in a day. Memorize your charts for stuff like polyatomic ion charges and solubilities and shit like that because you'll need to know them. Good luck OP!

Just finished a maths exam, calculus and algebra, I answered around a quarter of the questions. This semester started bad and has got worse, I'm going to have to spend my entire Christmas holidays avoiding my family and just prepping for January exams.

I looked up the solutions to our midterm exam (they come from a test bank), and compared them to his solutions that he provided, and found that he approached 2/3 problems incorrectly and even managed to leave out a critical value in one that made the answer nonsensical

I was cripplingly depressed for 70% of the semester. Near the end I managed it and beat the depression back .I started studying hard, but I'm sure it was futile since it was too late.
But the strange thing is I feel oddly accomplished for just staying until the end, which is a new thing for me. Usually I just drop out. I'm excited for the next semester in a few weeks because school seems pretty easy/enjoyable once you get over your demons, even for the supposedly "hard" classes.
