Not even close. Most of the time when I'm involved with religious discussions, I'm on the fedora-core side.
I just think religion is a tool to make people not be dicks or else face punishment from an entity they have no chance of standing against. Fear was the only way people would be decent to each other back in those days. So obviously religious texts are going to have a lot of positive values thrown into their fear-mongering bullshit.

Married with a kid on the way. I have a job in software development. "Release engineer/QA". Basically, I don't do shit. Maybe 1 hour of work a day. 1 hour for lunch, 6 hours dicking around on the internet. Go home, wife has dinner ready. Watch sports, play vidya, have sex (3-4 times a week before we got pregnant), get 8 hours of sleep. Don't life, but run 15-20 miles a week.
Can't really imagine a better life.

Just saw this thread and thought I'd chime in. Actually fairly wealthy Chad here, 6'1 220lb of muscle, generally can gross anywhere from 300-500k a year, millions spread across saving, property, and investment portfolio, all kinds of nice property etc., lots of attention from women, former professional tough guy, 8/10 face, decent sized penis.
All I can say is that having all these things, happiness is gained through a close relationship with God. Following him is what has led me through the many hard times in my life, and what has led me to find purpose and happiness. It's strange at first because you'll find that Jesus's blessings are the blessings you would normally look for, because your mind has been trained to want what the world tells you to want. But by being faithful and obedient to God you will find greatness (if only to glorify God). The man that thinks he can find happiness or pride in any worldly things or achievements alone will find these things to be bittersweet should he ever find them.
