Look, the vast majority of people can't model. That's the whole point of the model, anyone can pose in front of a camera or starve themselves. The idea I'd that the model says "Because of how I look more people will buy your product". Other people (myself included) do not find that woman attractive enough to buy more shitty lingerie or makeup or whatever. It's not a statement on ethically correct or philosophically ideal beauty standards. I'm ugly and I have a heart condition so I don't model and I don't run track. There are other things in life.
