I finally found the solution: don't stop. As soon as I finish a season or game, I just move straight onto the next. No breaks.

I used to do this with VNs when I was on vacations
just play like a 50 hour VN and just marathon it for 3 days

I get sad about being alone and being a loser but SoL doesn't usually cause it. Actually anime is one of the few things that makes me forget who I am long enough to feel like I won't always be alone .
