its not about what people say, i go there regularly for family.
It's a forgotten town if ive ever seen one. its one of theose places people grow up in and live their entire lives never leaving. all 1 story houses (which btw depress the fuck out of me for some reason) and unmaintained roads. it seems like the sky is always gray whenever I go there for some odd reason. In a word, its stagnant. I have no desire at all to live in a place like waukegan.
thats just my opinion though. I get really sad whenever the mentality that its fulfilling to be stuck in the same place your entire life is mentioned or implied. it's so ignorant and unfulfilling. I'm so glad my parents left.
