Man, finally admitting to myself that this was why I felt that way was like having a 50 lb weight lifted off my chest that I didn't even know was there. I was really able to look at some of my views on women and relationships and realize that they were actually pretty shitty and discard a lot of things that don't actually hold up logically. I feel like I understand my emotions and my insecurities on this subject a lot better. And because I know they are my insecurities, I now know that they are my responsibility to deal with.
