I now admit and accept that I do in fact have a gambling problem. On Sunday I resolved to only spend $20 per week on lottery, but I already spent $22 on just the first 3 days of draws. I diversified among the top 5 lottery games, the Powerball and mega Millions, the 'national lotteries" in the Unites States, the California state lotto, which has smaller millions jackpots but less worse chances of winning them, and the Fantasy 5 and Daily Derby, which have the best odds of winning the top prize of tens of thousands to occasionally a few hundred thousand, and better odds than the big lotto games to win $500.

My relationship with the lottery seems to parallel that of the late Elliot Rodger. I reckon I have spent about as much as he had on lottery tickets, though spread out over a longer period, like March 2012-present. Additionally, it was somewhat like looking into a mirror when I read his writings describing the moment he realized that winning the lottery would be the only gateway into a life of luxury and leisure. Like him, I failed at work, dropped over 9000 college courses (but ultimately got AA degree), realized I can never be good enough at anything to make a wealthy living from it.

But in contrast, most I ever spent on a single draw was $40 for Powerball, and I didn't take a bus to Arizona to buy Powerball tickets prior to May 2013, when it became available in CA. Also that I desire such wealth for my own enjoyment and security, not flossin and mackin. Additionally I lack all of his bitterness and rage, because I have come to understand and accept human nature, and choose a path of peace and love for myself that brings true happiness, regardless of how alone and virginal I am.

Gambling problem also.

Spend most nights getting drunk in the casino alone and emptying my balls on a roulette table. Only reason I'm not there tonight is I have to catch a flight early morning and if I go I will stay there and not make it to the airport.

the fuck if you're going to have a gambling problem at least gamble on something good like craps where you get good odds

also statistically it's not as significantly higher chance if you buy multiple tickets because the chance of winning is already so low.

Having said all that, $22 for 3 days isn't too bad for a few days of escapism.
>>
Just buy magic cards instead. Same money pit, except you might get fancy expensive cards.

>Dosent understand that the chance of winning increases buy 100% when you buy your 2nd lottery ticket

you are retarded

yes because 1 in 175,711,536 vs 2 in 175,711,536 is such a big difference you fucking idiot

you don't think in percentages when the odds are that low

I have now idea how any of the casino gambling, card games, sports betting works, there aren't any casinos I can get to, but lots of 7-11s, and I doubt you can go form gambling under $10 at a time to winning millions like you could with lottery. My impression with things like casinos and stock markets is that you have to be willing to lose an enormous amount of money initially to have a chance of growing it to extreme wealth, whereas with the lottery I just lose the money I spent on lottery tickets.

>$22 for 3 days isn't too bad for a few days of escapism.
but as I mentioned, doing this sort of thing for months and then years added up to hundreds and then thousands of dollars spent, and no more than $20 won at a time, mostly just a huge net loss.

You see this sassy bastard here? He's worth approximately $159.99 usd non foil. A foil version is probably 250. Roughly, the odds of any mythic rare is 1 in 8 packs, and getting the one you want would be about 1/88 packs. Now each box of magic cards has 36 Packs in it and there are about 16 worthwhile cards in the current modern masters set. That means you have a 2/11 chance at getting something that will at least earn your money back with a chance to earn a shitload. Not millions of dollars but it's still worth it if you buy in bulk.

seems comparable to the scratchoff lottery tickets in that luck depends upon you getting a specific card pack that is a winner. I completely quit scratchers because the instant-win factor has made them too addictive for me, and there are just several top prize winners in the whole fucking state of California, and they are much more expensive than lottery tickets. Its more reasonable to just play the medium draw games, where I have like one in half million chance of willing the jackpot no matter where a buy the tickets, and they have draws every day of the week.
>>
Relax bro, the next lottery ticket you buy is going to be the winner. You and I both can feel it.

My friend told me this fat dweeby guy used to buy magic cards from a store and he'd stand outside and open them and he would go back into the store and sell the good ones and throw away the shit ones

Even better is the dream of winning the Powerball jackpot tomorrow, its all I want man, if there is a God may it just let me win already and then be done with gambling. I already have 4 tickets for it , 4 for the Super Lotto, and 2 for the fantasy 5

>He's worth approximately $159.99 usd non foil
lol fucking really
some went looking though my brothers cards for shit to sell and found this but only got like 5$ for it
are you sure about that price
>>
>>24852157
Swap fat and dweeby for giant and spergy and that's literally me. I spent 15 bucks yesterday and sold them a card worth 45 from the same pack.
>>
>>24852231
I'm positive. If it was before the most recent modern masters set it's probably worth 200+. Remand, an uncommon from the same set, is worth 6 bucks.
>>
I keep hoping someone online or real life will enlighten me to a clever and low-risk way to get rich quick other than continuing to spend an unsustainable amount of money on lottery gambling.
