By what age is it weird to make under 50k? Isn't 50k the acceptable wage for a male in today's society?

24 to be honest, I mean you graduate at 21, 30k is a decent starting wage, by 24/25 you should have risen up in your career to make at least 55k.
If not you wasted your college degree and good luck having any money for saving.

Depends where you live. Different places require different incomes.
I'm 30 and make 40+k/yr at my computer repair business(just recently bought the business/building I'd been working at) and around that again farming if you don't count all the money going towards paying off the land/equipment quickly.
But I live in a rural area and can also survive on a much lower paycheck than other places.
Even though people think I should move to the city and make more, I don't care. I'd be miserable if I was still there. It'd be hard to pay me enough to go back and be a wage slave.
Just turned 32 and finally earning $60k per year. Feels bad. Should have stayed in school.

I'll be 31 next year. If I continue to work the hours I'm working, I'll make 40k, but that's 70 hours a week, 40 at my 11/hr job and 30 at my 13/hr job.
Looking to go back to school for either IT or MIS, or trying to find my way into an entry level job and work my way up from there.
