It really depends on the theatre. If it's an imax theatre, it's recommended to tip 18% the cost of your concessions, but in smaller venues you can get away with just 10%.
I usually tip 15% of the cost of the movie tickets, minus minus the time value of money assuming a 10% yearly return.
