I got banned for 'participating in a board raid' a few years back. I think I posted in a thread where you said what the shittiest board was and the posts after me turned it into a raid thread.
When I was at Uni some dick kept getting us IP banned for three days. He was some /soc/ fag who kept breaking the same goddamn rule, and if you're banned for 3+ days you have that little comment box and everyone who posted on here bitched about him on it which was hilarious. At one point we were planning on actively finding him since he lived on campus as well and namefagged/posted selfies all the time on /soc/
I think the mods have it out for me at this point, I'm getting week long bans over minor offenses now.

Another time in 2013 I was banned for posting ecchi in a monster hunter thread celebrating MH3U's localization. It was an Arzuros armor girl with honey on her breasts so you couldn't even see her nipples. Lasted 3 days.

Every time they add more janitors or there is a change in the board format or rules there's a short period where lots of shitposts are deleted and banned, but after a week or so they realize the futility of trying to filter the piss out of the pool, and then you shitpost all you want and nothing happens other than the rare case its deleted by a janitard. In the time since the robot was reinstate I see that the shitposting culture that dominated the board during the period of anarchy has largely remained unchanged.

I recently posted something on the forums of MAL (My Anime List) that was critical of social justice. I was not just banned from the forums; my IP address is now banned for life from the entire site so I can't even view it. That's how hard the moderators got blown the fuck out. They probably still have nightmares of that day.
I was participating in many threads at the time, but I know it was my anti-SJW comments that were the cause because I had earlier been warned for making such comments. And back then the moderators saw fit to nuke the entire thread I was posting in. They really did not want anyone to be exposed to my WrongThink.
I was also banned from ANN (Anime News Network) for criticizing an extremely SJW review written by them (it was full-on Tumblr crazy). Or to be exact, they restricted my account so I couldn't post without approval (I don't know for sure but I think banning a user would indicate it under their user name, and they didn't want anyone to find out). They also deleted every single post I had made in the thread and basically made it as if I had never existed.
I was banned from Something Awful for saying I like Asian women (someone also bought me an insulting custom avatar). The ban message didn't specify what my offense was, so at first I wasn't sure what really was the reason. Much later I participated in a thread where people talked about dating preferences, and I again mentioned I prefer Asian women. I think I was probated within an hour or so, and shortly after the probation was turned into a PERMANENT BAN. A permaban on SA is supposedly reserved for only the most serious offenses like using a stolen credit card or posting CP. Again the ban message didn't state what my offense was, but of course I could put two and two together. If you know your feminism then you know why the goons got triggered this badly. Had I not been banned so soon, the thread would have eventually melted down completely, with every poster relentlessly attacking me.
