>The Walt Disney Company EMEA has identified a new generation of digitally-aware children
>The group has been labelled Generation XD, the digitally aware children of Generation X, and comprises children who have never known a world without the internet and born between 1995 and 2001.
If you are 20 years old or younger, you are now part of the literal "cancer" generation.
>literal
lol
>>24834458
18 year old here
Just fuck my shit up Senpai.
I feel bad for children growing up in this world.
>>24834458
>Generation XD

>tfw 18
I am the cancer
>generation XD
I fucking hate Disney
>never new a world without internet
I was born in '96 and I didn't have consistent access to a computer till I was a 10 and even then I didn't have consistent access to the internet till I was like 12.
Bullshit I was born 96 and didn't have constant internet up my ass until Junior High
21
Don't need no chemo
>generation XDDDD baka senpai desu
>>24835069
>the funpost generation
>TFW 1994
Close one senpai
I kinda wish I was desu.
XDDDDD
1995 here
>parents got a computer in 2001 for downloading music over dial up
>started using computers in school in 2005 with having little use at home
>didn't start using Internet constantly until i was 15
>>24835199
omg same!
nice dubs btw xD
>born in 1991
Born in 1992 but I didn't have consistent access to the internet until 2005. I think that 1996 is a bit early to warrant a 'digital generation' I think the digital generation are those that grew up on tablets and social media. We had internet as a kid but it was hardly changing the world back then, it was pretty much good for shitty porn and Runescape.
>>24836568
This, to be honest.
2000+ is the XD generation
1990-2000 is the " I just discovered hentai flash games on newgrounds" generation.
>>24836568
If they were born in 1996 they're 6 years old in 2002 pretty fair to call them the digital generation.
>>24836720
but even in 2002 the internet was still pretty much just flash games and hentai, the digital age didn't REALLY take hold culturally until like 2007-8 IMO.
>>24836744
What how young are you?
>>24836768
23, what were you doing on the internet on 2002?
>>24836744
There was all kinds of shit going on even in the 90s. In many ways the web has regressed since the mid-00s.
>>24837122
yeah, for web enthusiasts, we're talking about mainstream web use that affected culture in the west.
>>24834458
>tfw you will never have a son and teach him basic shit like creating new folders and Microsoft paint
>tfw he will know more than you at only the age of 10
>>24837159
It's actually just a myth that kids today are some kind of computer wizards. They are actually worse than people who grew up in the 80s and 90s.
>>24837217
This, kids today understand basic tablet interfaces and that's it.
What the fuck? I thought people from that period were millennials, cus they were born near the millennium. Then I was told i was part of some generation x or some shit, and now im being told by motherfuckin walt that im part of a generation named after his shitty tv channel? No thank you. I remember my time without the internet just fine.
>>24836744
this desu, I remember that it wasn't until 2007 that using the Internet became as acceptable as it is now
I'm 18
Sheeit
>le 'divide people into "generations" meme' xD
This is one of the most spooked trends of bullshit I have ever seen.
>>24834458

Original origins
>>24834458
This is some bullshit marketing campaign. I hope no one ever takes this seriously.
>>24837537
