Liberty without regulations becomes feudalism as the rich and powerful drive those poorer than themselves into slavery and serfdom. You only have to look at all of human history to see that. You can't be pro liberty while allowing slavery, and you can't stop slavery without some form of regulation.

Getting tread on a lot these past eight years, unfortunately. There's a reason most rich people are fiscal conservative/small-government: Being rich, they usually understand economics better than people who are poor. Most American upper-middle-class did not come from a long line of rich people. It is the current year, after all.
