It'd basically be affirmative action for trannies. Trannies that looked like shit and had the personality of shit would still get married because couples would go out looking for any tranny at all so they were able to get married. Then resent the tranny like hell and probably kill it, as long as the marriage didn't nullify just because one of the three partners died.

they had this concept in a star trek episode iirc. there was the male, the female, and the "other" thing and it took all 3 to create children. the "other" gender were treated like slaves and butlers/maids since they were only used for procreation.

The hypothetical gender would have to be an actual, naturally occuring gender, not one of the existing genders who have mutilated themselves. If they were desired by women and desired men it would bring balance to the force. Men would desire women, who would desire this new gender, who would desire men.
