This is true in America, can't speak for some of the taller EU countries. When I asked the women I work at a restuarant what height was considered short they all agreed beneath 5'8. For the most part they said they wanted someone who was about half a foot taller than them.

I'm 5'-1" tall (or short I should say). I sucks. It can hurt every area of your life in the long run. Now i am over 45 and over it. At some point you stop fighting it and become freer.
