Both of these are only true for underage fans who lack some kind of identity or don't know anything about their own culture. You will find that most fans that are over the age of 18 and more knowledgeable about anime and related media like vns manga ect. aren't literal weebs. Hell I haven't seen any literal weebs since high school. And no being interested in those things do not automatically make you a weeb.
