Are we reaching the point of post-post irony, what would that even entail?

The attitude towards memes has changed so much here. I remember ragecomics and demotivational posters being extremely popular here back in 2007. Now ragecomics are Facebook material.
As memes make their way to the mainstream, the less 4chan likes them.

This would be my hope for it. For people to not be tongue-in-cheek and shitpost purposelessly, but actually speak to eachother in meaningful ways. We've always done some of that, it would be nice if it became the prevailing current.
