I made them meatball style like I usually do, mixing in salt, pepper, minced garlic and za'atar (a kind of middle eastern oregano with a somewhat unique flavor, my mum managed to get a single small plant from an Israeli in Sonoma. trying to get it to produce seeds, as there's basically no other way we could get more) before I form the patties. then I cooked them in a little butter, added cheese as requested atop the burgers after the flip, sauteed some onions in the pan after they were done, and put them on toasted buns with said onions and some arugula. next time, I'm just gonna pour out most of the grease from the pan and do the buns in there, as both my toaster and toaster oven are crap
