i don't want to sound like an edgemaster but I think I'm becoming psychopathic. a while back I went to a child psychiatrist but only got two sessions because I turned 18. in those two sessions they sussed out my autism pretty quickly (big surprise on r9k right?) and I got diagnosed.
I also showed psychopathic and schizoaffective tendancies but they didn't lead to anything because my sessions stopped. fast forward to two days ago and I woke up feeling nothing. I'm the sort of guy who doesn't care about gore and all that shit, and when my family gets all 'ohmygodguise' on the tamest shit I almost sperg. anyway I'm not feeling that depressed or sad, I just don't feel much emotion if any, and it's sort of spinning me out here.

It's 20,800, there are 52 weeks in a year.
If you can't do that, you probably aren't able to work out what bills you have to pay each months. On the off chance you just made a mistake here's a breakdown of stuff.
Rent/mortgage can be 80-150 a week depending on where you live and the size of the house/flat/room.
Council tax can be 20-60 a week, most likely 20 though given that you'll be in a low value property.
Water, leccy and gas comes to about 15-20 a week for me.
Food is around 40, but I spend a lot of money on breakfasts and fizzy drinks. You could make it as low as 20 a week if you only drank corpy lemo, didn't get any treats and had cereal for breakfast every day.
General household items, nothing, I buy a shitload of shower gel, bleach, bin bags, toilet rolls and whatever else at costco every so often. Probably a fiver a week, definitely no more than a tenner.

So that's:
Rent: 110
Council tax: 20
Utilities: 20
Food: 30

Of course you need to factor in transport costs, on the go lunches, the inevitable post hangover 3 day takeaway binge, any deposits and a phone contract.
Up front expenses you might not think of are: plates, glasses, cutlery, appliances like toasters and microwaves, larger appliances will usually be provided. A TV, the internet installation fee, a hoover, an ironing board and iron, furniture like desks you might need, wash baskets, bins, bedding, towels, an alarm clock and clothes hangers. Also a clothes horse if you don't have a dryer. And don't forget that even though cleaning supplies work out cheap over the weeks, buying a shitload of them upfront will be expensive. Don't buy shit bleach, don't buy shit detergent, always, always always have a pack of toilet rolls somewhere if you're living alone. Never use them deliberately, if you know you're out of paper, don't shit until you've gone to the shop. Replace them straight away.

It probably differs by subject, STEM students can spend 1,000 words just describing the outline of their concept and another 1,000 recording the results. Those are just straight from brain to paper exercises and would only take a couple of hours or even less if you didn't care about perfect grammar and sentence structure.
A humanities student might take longer because they have to figure out how to smoothly transition between several concepts throughout the essay.
You law lot are probably the slowest because you have to use all those bizarre latin words that nobody can spell. If it's anything like STEM you have to work out what ones the person who will be marking it thinks should be italicised too.
It's easy to knock out a few thousand words in a night but you won't have time to redraft with fresh eyes which is the most important part of the process.
