There are a lot of different kinds of intelligence.
There are plenty of normies with certain kinds of high intelligence, skills, talents, etc.
There does seem to be a link between higher intelligence and a greater chance of being very aware of and sensitive to the bad parts of life, though.

An Intelligent person would be aware about everything, know that everythingyou do is worthless and that humans are doomed. Usually the smarter ones have a little bit more compassion towards robots, but even they don't can't truly understand how it feels.
Define intelligence. It's been my experience that if people are smart, it's usually in one specific area and its closely related fields. Being a math prodigy or something to that effect certainly doesn't seem to grant you any more defense against making terrible life decisions, or more apt in picking out the people that aim to manipulate your abilities for their own ends, to use one example among many. The way people use intelligence as a way of describing someone casts such a wide net that it's largely meaningless.
Of course, I've went to a top tier college for engineering and legitimately 95%+ of people there are normies.
Sure you get the occasional autist who managed to focus is unrelenting obsessive personality to maths rather than sonic the hedgehog fanfics. But that's far from the norm.
