I will tell you now that DPH high is not a good high, my friend. It will work though, depending on your tolerance. If you can build your way up to about 20, stop and let tolerance go back down.

He's right. After a certain amount you'll hear random words and such seemingly coming from nowhere. Go further than that and I've personally had:

Remember that the two potentiate each other and also that it's a really shitty high that will make you feel like utter shit until your mind is so far sideways that you can't remember that you're supposed to feel like shit. I took 1000mgs in a suicide attempt. It was the most traumatic experience of my life. Heard people shouting and talking outside, in the hallway etc. Heart was racing like you wouldn't believe ,I've never had it beat so fast before, literally felt like a was having a heart attack. Couldn't see anything, letters looked like alien symbols. I tried to dial 999 and took me numerous attempts to even identify the number on my phone. I had to use a phone with physical buttons so I could know where it was without having to see it. Couldn't hear the person one the other end nor could i speak because my hallucinations over powered all of my senses so help never came until the next day when they traced my number. My vision didn't even line up with my physical surroundings, I tried to grab a door handle at one point and it took me several attempts to even touch it. And the fucking spiders, there were realistic as fuck spiders everywhere I would bat them off me and they would just fall and disappear.
Its not an enjoyable experience and I've dabbled with psychedelics numerous times and never had a bad experience. It will fuck you up OP.

I've done a lot of drugs and trust me when I say don't abuse DPH or DXM. DPH isn't fun, it's fucked up masochism and can cause serious health problems in overdose. DXM isn't that bad if you keep your doses low and infrequent but it gets blown out of the water by RC dissociatives. Don't do OTC highs kids.

I think getting checked out to make your ok is a good idea. Just remember if you mention suicide attempts to healthcare workers they might try to put you in a ward or on SSRI's and anti-psychotics.
