Does anyone else out there compulsively seek out and consume media to fill the emptiness of their lives? I don't know about you guys, but I think I'm actually happier this way. Give some recommendations of your favorite show, manga, anime, movie, music, etc etc you've found lately.

I'm currently on Parks & Rec, Futurama, Always Sunny, and Yamoto 2199 (and Archer and Johnny Bravo when I'm drinking). I stay within a few weeks of caught-up on Doctor Who and Supernatural (inb4 Tumblr, SPN's one of the biggest no-joke worship of old-fashioned masculinity on TV right now), and Gravity Falls is absolutely amazing.

Favorites I've finished of course include Watamote (surprisingly uplifting at times), Life On Mars (the BBC version, not Burger version, I found it hands-down one of the best/deepest shows I've ever seen), Dresden Files (if you didn't read the books, it'll probably seem stupid as shit), both Fullmetal Alchemist series, both Last Exile series, Cowboy Bebop, Kill La Kill, and so on.

Point being: Yes, absolutely. In a strange way, I find it better than socialization though harmful in the longterm, kind of like a really shitty NEET-y drug.

Is Steven Universe decent? I guess I see a bunch of robot and /pol/lack wankers talking about how it's an SJW-fest, but not really explaining why and I don't even know what it's about.

Gravity Falls is freaking amazing. How caught up are you and what are your thoughts on the series?
>>

I watched it because of the same /pol/ types saying it was SJW shit.

Its actually pretty decent and i don't see what they get so triggered about, its a fucking cartoon with very mild lesbian and in a few episodes trans themes.

Im totally going to start watching gravity falls.

Im alone in the office, i should start watching it now.

Gravity Falls is pretty much a part of my life. Give it a shot, it's a special show.

Steven Universe is a pretty decent show, don't let the fandom make you think otherwise.

Enjoy it while you can because Jewboy Alex decided he's not making anymore.

>mild lesbian and in a few episodes trans
Sounds like heresy. Almost as bad as black people not being dead. Please tag your triggers.

I'm caught up and it's seriously amazing, though the last few episodes are honestly not something I'd let young kids watch. No idea how they flew through the filters, but holy shit talk about a climax.

Gravity Falls is, if not an inspiration, perhaps just positive reinforcement. The Ford twins are a lot like my brother and I, too, which is funny.

I might give it a shot, but I've got a lot on my watchlist right now, and I've gotta get a job at some point. Tendies don't buy themselves.

Been getting into old classic films just recently finished Freaks

I was sorta into it before but Dwarf fortress is amazing and a great time sink

Might get into competitive gaming if I can handle talking to people and the pressure

Gravity Falls' relatability is fantastic. I can relate to pretty much every significant character.
