At 500k exp rate (which is practically impossible for almost all skills except combat) it still takes 375 hours to go from 99 to 200m.
For slower skills, you are looking at 600 hours per skill. You're saying that spending 4200 hours is worse than spending 12000+ hours to hit 5.2b?

I am well aware of how long it takes to grind xp and how much easier it is to gain xp now in comparison to past years (I got all 99s in 2009 and played on and off until 2014) - You're still completely and utterly batshit retarded (or misinformed) if you think that treasure hunter and the mass influx of easily attainable bonus xp didn't halve the amount of time taken at an absolute minimum.

That's the problem with it though imo, it's absolutely piss easy to get to Jad, but it takes me an hour to do it and then I get killed within 3 attacks because of the shitty connection. Without getting a firecape, it feels sort of pointless to keep playing because that's endgame cape and I'm cb 100.
OSRS is honestly one of the best MMO's you can play, especially if you want to watch something on the side or just relax, listen to music and grind slayer.Or if you're completely alone with no friends to play other MMO's with.
