It is complex though. Most people don't ever bother looking at a map or thinking back more than 5 years and learning the differences between any of the Muslim countries. Like which ones have oil and which ones don't, which ones have high, volatile populations or small, homogeneous populations, which ones have an ancient, intellectual history and which ones are mostly nomadic, which ones are US allies and which ones aren't, and which ones have access to important waterways like the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, or Suez Canal.
People have generally yelled at me when I express any opinion throughout my life, so in high school I kind of embraced it and said all kinds of provocative things. At the same time, I was just beginning to legitimately understand political issues. So I would say things like "9/11 was a conspiracy" just to piss people off, to the point where no one took me seriously even if I tried to have a civil conversation. My Stacy calculus teacher gave me a death stare when I said that the US funded the early Taliban. I also live near NYC, so I guess it's understandable that people are especially sensitive.
But people are generally naive and difficult to really talk to, even in Ivy League schools.

The thing is, if I was to talk about it with people, I'd dissect the whole thing and point out that the only reason ISIS even exists is because of US interference, direct and indirect. The person who is closest to my level is probably my dad. He's Persian, but fedora as fuck. He's an architect who first studied in Japan, and then met my white mom at Columbia in the 80s. My mom's kinda nuts, so they divorced when I was 3 and I've always been sort of distant from him. The Jap economy got fucked in the early 90s and 00s too, so his company pulled out of NYC and he had to move abroad to find work. He was in Tokyo for a couple years when I was in high school, but soon after I started college he got transferred to Saudi Arabia.
Incidentally this was when I dropped out of college and started researching political stuff for myself. He found a job in Okinawa recently, and my mom is kicking my NEET ass out to live with him next year, which I'm kind of apprehensive about.
On top of all this, I look white. Actually white, with green eyes and vampire skin, except for a Jew nose. So I feel kind of guilty that I can "pass" in the US in a way he will never be able to. It's part of why I'm opposed to interracial marriages.

I've actually been thinking of joining the military. I'm also really good at languages (probably hereditary, dad speaks like 5), so I could probably become a linguist if I wanted to.
I have trouble rationalizing joining the armed forces while disapproving of most of what it does.
In general I'm pretty fucked up socially too. My mom had my brother when I was 3, and then got divorced soon after that, and without a husband to yell at she would yell at me. This, coupled with a screaming baby brother and a shitty new preschool, and a lack of exercise because my mom was bedridden from surgery and couldn't take me anywhere, made me have atomic tantrums that had her take me to therapists. I was on prescription drugs at the age of 5, and went to a "special" kindergarten where the other students were pretty much retarded.
I went to public school from 1st to 4th grade, but even there I was still forced to see psychiatrists and psychologists who treated making friends as this fucking weird scientific project. In 4th grade I started having tantrums again because of a faggot teacher that the psychologist picked because she thought I needed a male role model, so I went to a "special" school in 5th and 6th grade too. The students there were actually fine, but the teachers were braindead cunts who made us have "star charts" like in Spongebob.

Another thing I should mention is that my mom is a hoarder and my apartment is filled with junk (I've been trying to clean it up for years, but she just buys that much more stuff to replace it, which has given me a nihilistic attitude when it comes to work), and she has no idea how to raise kids, so I was always listening to her and my brother fight over things like making him go to the bathroom and brush his teeth, all the way up through high school. (He was 15 when I graduated). This meant that it was hard for me to do homework, which is why I started acting up in 4th grade. In my senior year of high school I even snapped once and hit my brother while I was trying to study for a test, and my mom threatened to call the police.
I eventually went to a private school in 7th and 8th grade, but they didn't give scholarships so my mom found another school an hour and a half away where I went to high school. It was really small, like 15 kids per year, so I was also socially limited there.
I managed to get into an elite college, but I was so socially fucked up that I wasn't able to make friends or focus on my work (I have focusing issues because of all the yelling I had to listen to growing up). I also felt like I'd missed out on a lot of the experiences other kids who went to public school had.
I dropped out and became a NEET. I actually started to think seriously about my life and discovered my passion for linguistics, but then my mom forced me to go see a therapist again. He then coerced me into one of his "social skills groups" where I had to deal with a bunch of autists. When I dropped out he pretty much yelled at me in front of the whole group and basically called me an antisocial freak. Therapists and my mom changing my school every couple of years and telling me I was retarded is part of why I have so much trouble making friends, and then they punish me for not having any.

I was seeing the therapist just like she said, but since I missed a couple appointments she decided to take advantage of me at the hospital by forcing me to talk to a bunch of idiots. I've never felt more trapped in my life; the closest I've ever been to killing someone was probably when this sardonic black doctor was mocking what I'd eaten the night before.
A year passed after this, and that Christmas dinner (2014) I got pissed off listening to my mom and brother argue about some little thing (I get triggered for lack of a better word when listening to people argue or repeat themselves because of all the times they kept me up or distracted me from my work) and got up from the table. My (drunk) dad who was visiting then went off on me. I tried to just ignore the whole thing and move on, but he kept going until I went to the bathroom and cried like a faggot. Then he went in and we talked seriously, but before we went back to the table he smirked at me and mockingly told me not to act weird.

I think most manipulative troublemakers in the West are Jews, but I know not every single one is like that, and the ones who are like that got that way because of all the discrimination they themselves suffered throughout history. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? I still have a lot of controversial political views though. I don't believe that the US entered World War II out of any duty to defeat the big bad racists, I believe the whole war was mostly about preventing Germany from challenging the Anglo-American banking system (which had just thrown the world into a depression), and that fascist countries have not done anything that every empire throughout history hasn't done. The US was built on the genocide of millions of people, it just happened over a longer time. What makes the US today so bad is that it tries to justify all the bad things it does; at least other empires throughout history didn't need to pretend to love the people they were invading to get their people to support a war.
Since I've pretty much been told that there's something wrong with me my whole life, and since I'm always getting blamed for things that aren't my fault, I'm really bad at being assertive and approaching people. I have an inability to trust anyone, except I'm not a sociopath so I can't even use it. I feel like there's a hurricane inside me that's growing because of being suppressed my whole life.

I am a hateful, intolerant person. Quite racist too.
It pushes everyone away in the end unless you hide your power levels, and thats hard to do when its such a part of you.
I don't think a relationship with a hateful person would last very long, even if its a shared hatred.

It's not just about "race" the way you're thinking of it. It's about a group of people sharing a common history and culture.
Most empires began to collapse once they started to absorb outsiders, voluntarily or not, who didn't truly see themselves as part of the empire because they didn't have a shared history. It happened in Rome (and the entire former Roman empire), even before the Germanic mercenaries, where people in conquered territories were "Romanized" and could buy their way into high places.
It happened in China with the Mongol and Manchu invasions, where the invaders became culturally Chinese, but caused a lot of problems with all their destruction and rape. A lot of Chinese people are descended from violent rapist hordes (this is true in much of the world). Japan was the only Asian country that was able to independently join the modern world, and it's because they didn't suffer Mongol invasions.
It happened in Brazil, where there's a clusterfuck of Africans, natives, and white Europeans, and Africa-tier levels of crime and corruption.
It's not just about preserving the "purity" of the white race. Racemixing can give black people identity problems too. Plenty of them feel isolated from their own race, and might find it weird that they only look like one of their parents.
It happens when children are adopted out of their race. Rich, liberal, white people think they're doing a good thing by buying a child from a poor country, but that child never had a choice about leaving her (usually her) culture. Every time she looks in the mirror she's reminded that her parents aren't really her parents. Yet at the same time she probably loves her parents, so feels guilty for thinking that way. The argument for cross-national and racial adoption is the same argument that was used to justify slavery. "We have a duty to forcibly improve your life for you."

I don't even talk to anyone anymore.
But when I did, I was so used to getting yelled at that if people started to get upset or argue with me, I would just shut down and couldn't think straight, and would lose my train of thought. I'm just not good at face to face conversation where I know I could be interrupted/insulted/punched at any moment.
And I don't necessarily defend terrorists, but I don't actually believe the majority of them are that different from many Americans.

And Turkey (a US ally) is implicitly supporting ISIS specifically because they fight in Kurdish territory. There have been ethnic tensions between Kurds and the rest of Turkey for centuries, Turkey is using ISIS to remove Kurd.
