I used to have dreams and energy when i was a kid. Now i'm just a shell of my former self - without any hope and energy.

Infinitely happier.
Every day was an adventure with new and exciting things
I didn't think about myself, I wasn't concerned with my personality or appearance.
I just wanted to play with my friends and have a happy time
Now look what I've done with that poor kids stolen life, I can't even believe that I was a child at one point, it feels like it never even happened.
At least I can drink now, but I'd give ANYTHING to be a kid again.

I was optimistic and actually had hope for the future when I was a kid. I didn't realize how horrible the world was, I thought we had a bright Star Trek-type future, not a Brave New World/The Road/Mad Max one.
