I never got the full hepatitis B vaccination as a teen. I took the first of 3 shots and was told to come back in a couple months but never did.
Is this something I should take care of? Not on my parents insurance anymore, on a college insurance plan.
Yes. If you want the vaccine to be fully effective, you need the booster shots.
I got chicken pox as a kid, titered negative, got one, another negative, and wasn't positive until the second varicella. I was also negative on mumps and pertussis. I'd say you need it. I didn't start my hep b until earlier this year. I get the third in the morning for free since I wagekek in a hospital. It's funny. In 6 months the shots, turkey, and swag is probably worth more than what they pay me.
