Yeah, I make beats and have made 4 albums that I put out for free. People get surprised when I mention it but on facebook nobody really cares and no friends download or listen to them. I've accepted it, it's just how it is.
You should focus on improving and perhaps putting your covers on YouTube instead of facebook, that way you get a different, new, Non biased audience (people who don't know you). In my opinion that's the type of audience you should be targeting, but by all means, post links to facebook. Can't hurt, you know, once a day is cool.
