You need better friends m8, Ima guess a lot of your friends are student age? students are liberal dickwads most of the time, that is until they venture out into the real world.

My normiebook friends pretty much are all for the bombing, except a couple of girls who are scared it will cause ISIS to attack us here in retaliation.

honestly stunned by the amount of people opposing the syria vote.

The leader of the Kurdish forces literally said that Iraq would have fallen without the West's intervention with airstrikes to bomb the fuck out of IS strongholds.

Nobody has said the airstrikes will stop IS but it's demoralising and it stops them from mobilising large convoys to take over towns and cities.

Yeah because you're going to kill someone if you don't turn the steering wheel the way they teach you to do...

I've got epilepsy so I've just had to reapply for my licence because I've not had a fit for a year. Watch your tone or I'll not bother taking my medication and come for you.

I live in a market town, I also took my test in a different market town a lot of country driving. Must be a lot harder if you have to do it in a city.

I still don't really understand roundabouts, I just go when I'm far enough away from a car that they probably can't hit me.

There are some towns with test centres and no roundabouts so you can pass without ever having driven on one.

You should have called them beforehand, but if it was an emergency there and then they might give you some sympathy as long as you phone them sharpish.

If you don't phone up today, you're likely to be eating the tins soon.

>Jesus I can't imagine what flavor of ass that must taste like

Drink a 4 pack of special brew and then drink a carling.

The difference between them is how far below regular lager that own brand stuff is.

That said, Tesco's "Premium" own brand lager is still less than a pound a can and is actually nice.
>>
>>24714259
We bought some of Sainsbury's own brand to see what it was like and it tasted like bread
>>
>>24714223

how did u manage that? whats the job?
>>
>>24714504

They did, it was wild.
>>
>>24714259
My mates parents used to buy crates full of that. I think because we would always drink their beer so to teach us a lesson they bought literally the worst alcohol possible. You couldn't even get drunk from it and it tasted inexplicably bad. I dunno what happened to it in the end, there must have been like 40 cans no one one would drink it.

My mum used to buy the normal 4% Tesco lager sometimes and that was surprisingly okay. I mean it wasn't good but it wasn't any worse than Fosters.
>>
>>24714504

I was there, Wednesday night drinking is the thing.

Public Affairs with some massive multi billion pound company.

I've been unemployed for months and couldn't even get places to accept me for a week's work experience

Randomly applied and got invited to interview, had a laugh at the interview and they phoned me and said it was mine.

Really bizarre
>>
>>24714355
Why would he not just drink a regular lager then drink an own brand lager? That makes much more sense than drinking 4 cans of Special Brew.

Is Special Brew actually nice flavour? I've never been shameless enough to try it.

I should mention my uncle is pretty high up in that company so he probably had something to do with it. He'll never admit it though.
>>
>>24714574
It actually does, I wish weaker lagers had the same taste because it's nice, but special brew itself fucks up my joints
>>
>>24714578
Honestly go for it lad.

I literally couldn't get somebody to let me work for free just sending emails and shit.

I even rushed the application because I thought I'd never get iit and it asked for experience working in areas I've never worked in (considering I've done nothing but go to uni).

I've gone from about to beg Tesco for a job to now having some cushy ofice job that actually sounds quite respectable.

Good luck, don't give in

History. I just graduated this year but have been doing nothing for months.

Never underestimate yourself. Just because hundreds might not see your worth, doesn't mean there isn't one that will.

I've been knocked back so much and flat out ignored I can't describe the way it felt. Now I'm gonna have a CV that says I work managing the reports, research and image of a huge company.

It just takes a lucky break.

I was a counting agent once at an election in Northamptonshire. The lib dem candidate tried to claim that a ballott paper that was blank, bar an atom of ink in the lib dem box, should be counted as a Lib Dem vote, but was dismissed as not a clear intention of voting.

Ticks count though, despite what people say
