I wish I could say I was pursuing a career in it. The closest job I can get is a dishwasher in a restaurant or a bus boy, due to the nature of things here. (And I'd take it if it meant I could work in the kitchen somewhere down the line.)
But sadly, no. I worked in a restaurant for a while and became good friends with the chef there, taught me a lot. But without any actual experience or a piece of paper proving I can cook, I won't get hired in the kitchen.
