it is hereditary to an extent. my father is constantly bloated, and I was the same way until I went on a strict diet. ordinarily, people avoid extreme bloating unless their diet is truly horrible

I have a similar story due to eating cheap food. Once cooked 4 yellow onions in broth and ate them all over two meals. I also ate a lot of eggs. The next week I was having the worst farts ever. Loud and extremely rancid.
