What's your normie job in Tamriel /r9k/
I work for Belethor, at the general goods store.
I'd probably end up as one of the beggars who asks the pc to steal booze and porn statues
>>24693588
>forester
>caravan guard
>apothecary
>traveling peddler
>hermit>brothel bouncer
I have a message I'm suppose to deliver, your hands only, lets see here....
I'd like to trade with the Khajit
I protect pilgrims in their travels.
>>24693588
Daedric cultist, worshipper of Sheogorath.
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>24693588
Do you even Cloud District?
I'm a bard by trade.
name's Nils, I'm the cook up at candleheart hall
>>24694563
You look strong. Come to Jorrvaskr, and be a companion!
>>24693588
Something to do with alchemy i imagine. Maybe just an alchemy shopkeeper
>>24694520
collector
Alteration Student, 100k Septims starting
>>24693588
The name's Faendal. Wood chopper by day. Animal fucker at night.
Got savaged by a werewolf as a child and contracted lycanthropy. Now I live in a small cabin in the woods away from other people, for my safety and theirs.
>>24694688
what do you do in your free time?
I`m a NEET mass murderer.I thought that was what everyone who played Skyrim worked in the game....
Blacksmith.
I send people on ridiculous quests to gather stupid shit that I don't actually need before crafting them a mastercraft sword.
Shilling for the thalmor
>>24694702
Got a vegetable patch around back, and a rabbit pen to tend to. Occasionally I might scour the nearby surrounding woods for herbs or beehives, but otherwise I'm in my cabin mending clothes and reading.
I'd be a wizard studying at the mages' college.
>>24694289
Im a Thieves guild scalefag
Tfw no high elf gf
>>24694783
>tfw vex rejects you
>>24694783
I'm also a Thievesfag
>>24694754
>siding with the jews
My name's Torygg I'm the high King.
i dont have a job
probably thieves guild cause of lack of prescence. but probably just a hunter or blacksmith.
NEET cult member who lives in a cave.
I'm the Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold.
I don't know how, I don't know any magic.
>>24694639
Alteration = Engineering
Illusion = Psychology
Destruction = Women's studies
Restoration = Medicine
>>24694961
What's conjuration?
>>24694961
>Destruction = Women's studies
I buy and sell skooma
>>24694991
media studies. You learn to make shit up.
If we're going for jobs most similar to ones I've actually had, Innkeeper I guess.
I'm that ogre that gets drunk and drowns himself.
I'm the long-dead historian that wrote those books.
I'm a cliff racer.
>>24694917
You were promoted to that post because you are the oldest virgin in Tamriel
>>24693588
College of Winterhold apprentice, experimenting with potions and shit if possible
>bed and food all payed for
>nice and cold, hot springs a small walk away w/ speed potions
>can also trade potions for furs and skins
>NEET lifestyle, but not enough to be a hermit
>literally getting paid to mess around with alchemy and maybe stumble into some amazing discovery
Literally nothing wrong.
work in The Hag's Cure.
Marry Muiri and start a family with her. learn sword fighting, archery and magic in my spare time.
What are your favorite races? And what build should I go for next time I play?
>>24696825
The choice is obvious anon
>>24697022
>tfw stealth archers are OP
Never dedicated much time as one, are they really that great?
>>24696825
Orsimer are my favourite. Poor cursed bastards.
Kind of like Dunmer, but not cunts.
I'm an orc robot working as a waiter in Riften. Every day fucking dirty backwater normies make fun of me, tip my drinks over and make a mockery of me.
Well tonight is going to be different.I bought a steel 2 hander from this guy I know and well, some of you are alright... stay away from The Bee and Barb tonight.
>>24698213
I work for the Dark Brotherhood. I can make quiet of your problem. I'm approaching you this way for I am anonymous. What say you?
>>24693588
>Not buying land
>Not owning a mansion and subsisting on your own farming
>>24697434
>nothing sees you ever once you hit 100 Sneak
>arrows crit for 3x damage
>if dagger stealth, talents + dark brotherhood quests make suprise attacks deal 30x damage
It's a pretty fun build too, I enjoy sneaking around and shooting people.
Only thing that I wish they'd work on is when a guy with a fucking arrow sticking out of his face says it must have been the wind or some stupid shit like that.
apprentice and errand boy for a creepy necromancer who lets me fuck the living corpses as payment
>>24697434
Depends on your skill level and perk choice. It's an easier, less grindy way of getting OP quickly, but I think two handed tanks hit the highest dps. Really, creeping power up between enchanting and alchemy can make you one shot dragons with just about anything.
>>24699824
Alchemy is a good money maker, but in Skyrim since it levels up an unwanted skill which makes you level up, I don't like it that much
I would be a Vampires assistant or whatever they're called.
>>24700215
>You find a potion that upgrades enchanting
>enchant ring that upgrades alchemy
>craft potion
>enchant
>craft
>eventual cap
>don fully enchanted blacksmith armor
>drink super blacksmith potion
>craft hammer of the gods
>smite all that stands before you
*note - may have been patched
>>24700435
It hasn't, but I like playing naturally y'know? Power leveling is not my thing.
>>24700475
Fair enough.
Sometimes I like to challenge myself and use very specific classes. Like one which is strictly a thief (no magic of any kind), one which is strictly a mage (only magic/small dagger, only mage cloaks and hoods), stuff like that.
tavern wench probably
skyrim is comfy af. just dont download dawnguard because fucking vampires kill all the npcs. just walk around, enjoy the scenery and listen to great music
>>24700580
I'm doing a battlemage right now. A mage with heavy armor really. This is gonna suck in the beginning due to limited resources, but I see it's gonna pay off later. I'm gonna have to rely on bound weapons and daggers for a bit, especially to mow down other mages
>>24700254
"vampire thralls"
>>24697434
yeah but its funner to use 2 handed weapons. 1 shotting everything isnt as fun as it sounds
>>24694961
someone is buttmad because he got btfo by ice storms
did you get slowed down and lose stamina for power attacks
Hunter
>easy money because you can't walk 3 steps without a deer or wolf running across your path
>improve your archery and sneak over years until it becomes good enough to start raiding dungeons as a based stealth archer
>Get to wander around enjoying Skyrim's scenery
the only bad part is watching your back for bastards who would kill you without consequence for your 2 bear skins
>>24700644
Mages only is the hardest fucking ckass I've played. No idea why, I mean it looks really good on paper.
>>24700700
Destruction scales horribly to be fair and can get expensive to cast early on. It isn't as bad as people make it, but is the most disappointing. Illusion is OP, Alteration is the most situational, Conjuration is GOAT
>>24700759
the only hard thing about mages is dealing with the monotony of every combat encounter
>start out killing enemies with small flames
>spend entire game getting bigger and bigger flame to kill enemies with
>>24700814
>not using conjuration
Nigga why?
>>24700814
>go to winterhold immediately
>no armor besides hands and feet
>go on quest
>get ass raped by five restless draugr
>level 3 mage with shitty fire shooting from hands
Fucking hell, man. I knew it would be hard, but not that fucking hard.
>>24700916
>having something else doing the fighting for you
even more boring senpai
>>24693588
fucking necromancer
>sit in my hidden cave reading books
>living comfy with my skeleton friends
>experimenting on dead bodies
>become immortal
>forever sit in my hidden cave while collecting dead bodies and doing experimenting
seems pretty NEET to me though
>>24700954
>mfw I was level 3
>mfw I'm wearing heavy armor
But seriously, invest in alteration spells and find the Lord stone asap. Mages are squishy af, so alteration is a necessity.
>>24701011
Nothing like trying to jump away from incoming damage.
Also, the lord stone is the one where you turn damage into magicka, no?
>>24701075
That's the Atronach. It's a fun stone for sorcerer builds, but it's shit if you're gonna conjure familiars. The Lord stone increases armor rating and magic resist. Not by a lot, but a mage needs every bit since they're glass cannons.
Skooma addict/dealer most likely senpai
>>24701112
True shit.
It's actually been for fucking ever since I've played. Destiny has been sucking up all of my time lately.
>>24693588
>normie job
top kek, i'm a WHIZZARD! i control time and reality, i don't need ain't no job
The only thing i dont like abput skyrim is you can end up being the head of literally every organisation. Like if you want to keep your job somewhere you should be able to have only one and spend so much time in that job
>>24701223
Pretty much this. If you don't use magic you're borderline, if not a full normie.
>>24701298
Skyrim has a bit of flaws. I don't like the writing and voice acting, the dungeons are too linear(for better or for worse), and if you played other elder scrolls games some would say it's casual shit. It's really casual though if you want to become the God of everything with no restrictions
slave trader duh
>>24701345
>becoming the God
>casual
assuming we not cheating, nigga what
>>24701571
In Skyrim it's easy as shit to become overpowered without cheating unless you go for a class build that isn't a Jack of all trades, master of all
>>24701623
>not wanting to be OP
that's why you're a loser irl you no-ambition loser
on a side not, you guys talk about /tg/ stuff way better than /tg/
>>24701298
>Welcome, initiate, to the College of Winterhold
Who's in charge here?
>Well, we haven't had a functioning leader in a few years. We've broken down administratively, and the outside world has forgotten about us since nobody represents us at any synods. We've lost all funding, and the teachers just focus on private projects with nobody to report to. We can't elect a new leader because the office is technically filled by Archmage Anon
What does he do then?
>Nobody knows. He comes around every once in a while to gather herbs from his office. Never talks to anyone. Legend has it he became Archmage after learning only the spell needed to enter the College, and never using magic again
>>24701705
Being OP in an rpg is a fleeting satisfaction. It feels good to be at the top, but it gets dull eventually.
/tg/ still have bad though, r-right?
>>24701752
>tfw winterhold college respawns so you get access to soul gems and the like
It was only like that so the garden can regrow, but now it's one of the better farming places
>>24693588
Khajiit has wares if you have coin.
>>24702048
nice normie meme, redditor
>>24702165
Should I worry about enchanting early? Or will it not matter at the moment due to lack of enchantments and I should just worry on getting some?
Egg miner seems like a pretty solid gig.
Failing that, being a hedge wizard for some bandits mite b cool
>>24702382
Get souls trap enchantment and wnchant literally everything you dont want and then sell it. Youll level quick. Dont worry about focusing on it early, usually 1-3 enchantments will level your enchantment skill
>>24702567
I'm a battlemage so I gave my conjuration perk soul binding. Feelsgood
>>24701752
You can actually get away with only learning that one shield spell, because you can use Thu'um to get into the college.
I'm a professional murderhobo.
>>24702657
>the mage college is the only time outside of main quest you get treated like a dragonborn
>>24702382
i do it later on, just remember to get fiery soul trap
caravan guard or egg miner, midlife crisis i would try and join a vigilante militia
>>24694648
I just sacrifices you at the cult of Boethiah
At least you fucked that Bretons sister right
you did right
Who else /alchemist/ here?
mfw I piss in the potions of normies who interrupt my studies
Since I think we need an Oblivionfag in here...
>Bosmer
>Spellsword
>Work for the fighters guild
>Drink mead to ease my suffering of tfw not the game protagonist
>>24703120
>always Breton
>be paladin
>smite everything
Feelsgood
>>24701345
Morrowind's main questline is a solid hunned thousin times better than Skyrim's
>be hangin in my cave with my NEET friends
>we spend all day workin hard on the ores for steel despite being NEET
>we get the gear and the arms
>fuckin red bars are always on top of our heads that say Bandit
>tell the red bars we aint Bandits
>they don't give a shit
>one day I'm pounding some iron
>My robot friend falls off the rocks above me with an ebony arrow in his gut
>see a 6"4 215 pound Nord clad in Daedric armor with a green hammer taller than me jump down, crushing my Friends head with his glowing red boot
>an armored troll follows him down
>an armored fucking troll
>He has a red bar to
>me and my friends start wacking at him
>him and the troll kill all my friends
>he has barely any red bar left
>sneak up behind him
>lift up my greatsword for the kill
>suddenly time freezes
>he drinks a few potions and the weapons in his hands transform
>his bar is full
>I do no kill him
>he turns around and yells at me
>As I lay dieing he picks off my clothes and uses telekinesis to throw my body into the forge flames
>2 weeks later I respawn
>mfw the ride never ends
