Are there really parts of the country where the ACT is preferred to (or even as common as) the SAT? Very few people in my high school took/take it.

>>24679401
why on earth would you guess on the science section? it's at least 95% 'are you capable of reading a basic chart'
>>24679388
Not him, but I got a 35 also.
Try and find practice tests and take them. Ask around with teachers, or try to find them online. I got plenty of tests without paying a cent.
If there's something you don't know (especially math) just look it up online (like an anon said, Khan Academy)
You should know grammar for the English.
Reading and Science are hard to study for. Taking the practice tests are the best bet for these, since you get a feel for the questions and content.
Best thing to do is to start early. I started taking the ACT in the seventh grade, took my last one my junior year. I'm guessing you don't really have that option, but to the underageb& here, please get started on your tests as early as possible.

I was trying to bait him into admitting he was one of those people who isn't actually smart, they just study to make up for it.
I got a 32 the first time I took it and just kinda gave up, didn't need to do more.
Op here, thanks for the the replies, I feel a little better now

Mostly any place but the coasts.
>>24679635
So what are you going to do about applying to college?
>>24679766
I don't know. I really don't care which one I go to or what I do, I don't know what I want. I think I might have autism
>>24678485
If that's true, it's already too late.
