Anybody have to read this in high school?
Summary:
>Wealthy, white, privileged woman has a loving husband but treats him like shit because he's angry that she neglects their children while he's at his job.
>Has a crush on a Chad named Robert, he likes her too, but pushes him away.
>Robert moves to Mexico but now she decides she's really wants him.
>Keks her husband, fucks another Chad, still not Robert though.
>Meets up with Robert, fucks him too.
>Wonders why all men treat her like plutonium and decides she's can't make a living on her own.
>Drowns herself, leaving her children motherless and essentially bastards in the eyes of 1800s society.
My AP Lang teacher forced us to read and analyze this.
