In most tellings, with alternate/multiple timelines, time travel is more like dimensional travel. There are infinite timelines/dimensions, and infinite possibilities. Personally I'd lay low, integrate into society with the knowledge that I currently have. I'd take on job after job. Wife after wife. Falling in love with different women and earning tons of skills over the next couple hundred years. I'd record everything i saw in a diary and eventually I'd just accumulate so much wealth and richness.
