there are subreddits for like every philosophy or political persuasion you can think of.

I dont have anything against reddit other than their users ruin the quality of 4chan every time they come here. It used to be pretty easy to spot reddit users before but now that 4chan is practically full of them it's hard to have fun here. At least they're not so active at certain hours.

Sometimes I look at r/news but just because it's a good way to find world news.

The highly specific subreddits are generally ok because it's actually good discussion and it can be a good place to get information.

Also it can be cancerous but it's definitely not destroying free speech.
