anybody listen to music to escape the world? Just recently started getting into different genres I mostly listen to eurobeat when I'm driving it's def helped
mostly listen to normie tier hiphop when with friends but when im on my ones i listen to other shit to zone out to and forget everything. i like massive attack babel, good song
I listen to music to develop my taste, not to feel this or that way.
This means that I find good artist at the rate of about two or three per month, and I relisten a lot, but I've become intolerant to normie/normie-pretending-to-be-robot 'music'.
Here.I just listen to metal and classic though
Progressive rock calms me down.

I love listening to music, it takes me away from the daily life.
Without music, I couldn't go on. I'd rather be dead than be deaf.

For escapism I usually opt for books, anime or any interest that I can get completely immersed in. Music alone doesn't quite do it for me, but in combination with doing something else it can be very potent escapism. When I work I always wear ear protectors with FM radio, I listen to the classic channel all day long and towards the evening they often have jazz programmes, it definitely puts me in the zone.

Is there a gigantic vaporwave pack that I can just download somewhere? I don't want to scour the internet for all those albums.
I listen to Macross 82-99 and fucking love him, if that counts as vaporwave.

Someone posted this in another vaporwave thread some time ago, I'm still listening through it.
