Who /SanAntonio here?
I'm moving to that comfy city
can texas please secede from the union
>>24654343
Texans are all limp dicked fuckin bitches tbqfh my family member
Born and raised there. Got the fuck out as soon as I could. Hope you like Tex-Mex.
Ok place but if your living downtown or anywhere but the northside. Be prepared for gays downtown or a bunch of hood Mexicans any were but the north.
>Big buildings
>fake ass space needle wannabe
>comfy
Pick one
>>24654300
You see that orange/red building in the center there? That's a place that the city spent tens of millions of dollars to build so that hobos could go in there and pee/sleep.
This place fucking sucks
Why does all of Texas suck
>>24654729
The amount of schizos in that library is something else
>Texas
>Ever
SomethingSomethingSTEERSNQUEERSSomethingSomething
>>24654737
Houston isn't bad, midtown & Chinatown were awesome
>>24654520
Where do you live now? I'm moving from LA
>>24654806
Ive never been to Houston
Ive lived in south Texas my whole life
I guess I should just ask why Austin and south Texas suck
One of the nicer places I've lived, actually. A lot more greenery than most cities, with rolling hills everywhere for great views from unexpected places.
Live on the North side if you can.
>>24654829
oh great,more californians
>>24654836
>Austin
>Sucks
Pick one. It's the only good city in texas
>>24654878
Found the norman.
>>24654863
I'm actually a NYC native
>>24654878
Alright yeah okay sure keep austin weird right
>>24654655
But it doesn't have to be only one, if you pick the first two you get San Antonio.
>>24654829
>Where do you live now?Austin.
Please don't come here though. I'm tired of my rent going up every year, and I refuse to live north of 183.
>>24655002
Nah, I have like 20+ HS classmates who moved there from NYC, none went to San Antonio though, kinda wanna try that city
>>24655067
Northeast side is okay,Northside if you want newer Austin-like shit
>teeny tiny urban core and then 500 square miles of suburban sprawl
>100 degrees and full humidity
>fat people
>mexicans
>"""""""""""""comfy"""""""""""""""""
last time I was in San Antonio I was 6. seemed pretty nice then, I liked the riverwalk and the alamo. we stayed at my rich cousin's house though which was neat.

San Antonio resident of 9 years here, definitely live on the north side, its the best part of town. My apartment is in the Stone Oak neighborhood and I love the area.
>>24655541
He just mad Spurs are and always have been a way better team than the Lakers.
>>24655609
i think he's just having fun
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aW5I-fFa4gY
>>24655580
>Stone Oak
Nigga, you're like 20 miles from anything that can be remotely considered San Antonian.
>>24655376
>>24655580
Is the north side expensive? Is it still part of the city or is it a suburb of SA?
>>24655684
San Antonio doesn't have a lot of "Suburbs" for it's size... although Stone Oak is a very suburban neighborhood... I'm actually just outside of the city limits but most of Stone Oak is inside... I pay about $850/month for my one bedroom apartment
>>24655684
It's expensive, yes. I wouldn't even consider part of San Antonio tho.
>>24655731 This is Stone Oak
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Stone+Oak,+San+Antonio,+TX/@29.6336074,-98.5202536,13z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x865c627545f9e6d3:0x18f4a4024de7a88c
>>24655684
In all seriousness if you look to live in zip codes 78259, 78258, 78260, 78261, and 78232, all north central areas, you're pretty much assured to be in a nice area... some nicer areas such as alamo heights closer to downtown
Should I move to San Antonio or Austin?
Just want cheap cost of living relative to wages. I know Austin has better paying jobs but costs are also higher... don't know if it's better.
>>24655862
Austin is fun to visit, but San Antonio is a better place to live, lower cost of living, jobs pay only slightly less, and San Antonio doesn't have any toll roads... Austin does
>>24655862
Austin is pretty SF-lite
>>24655438
What's wrong with Mexicans, really?
>hard workers
>mind their own business
>quiet
>take care of their yards
Seriously, what's really wrong with them besides a probable irrational hate of brown people?
>>24655973
short and ugly. look subhuman.
>>24655995
That's super shallow but whatever man.
>>24655973
>take care of their yards
sure..
>>24654836
>not living the life of a true robot in hill country
>not wanting to live in a town where all you can do is grit your teeth
>>24654806
So your response to why does all of Texas sucks is to say
>well two neighborhoods of one city don't suck
Anyone here from this shithole?
>>24656073
I've been to Houston, haven't visited other areas though
Cypress masterrace.
It's pretty much where all the white people from Houston live and decided to make a new city.
>>24656154
I swear ii e seen a bunch of WSHH fights at your local HSs
>tfw live in shitty south texas
fucking sucks, wish I lived in SA, it's a based town
I'm moving to Austin very soon though, got accepted to UT already, is Austin a nice city?
>>24656099
Yeah, Corpus here. I want to leave.
>>24656067
I was raised in a fucking ghost town, anon
South Texas is hell
>>24656375
>>24656099
Welcome to the most crime-ridden city in Texas
That picture makes it look wayyyyy too nice
>tfw saw a dead baby shark floaying by the docks
>tfw mistook homeless man sleeping under canopies for an abondened blanket
>>24656431
>Welcome to the most crime-ridden city in Texas
Is this true? It seems relatively peaceful here.
>>24656431
>perpetual water boil advisory
>>24656465
It's not as bad in rich neighborhoods, obviously.
>>24656493
I just live in an average neighborhood.
Speaking of which, I won't be living here much longer if I don't get a job soon. Someone please hire me, thanks. I don't want to end up like one of those dudes on SPID looking for handouts.
>>24656099
I went there on vacation. All I remember I did was visit Selena's grave and I saw some guys reel in a stingray on Padre Island
>>24656200
yes austin is a very nice city albeit pretty expensive. dunno if youre normo or not but there's a wide variety of people at UT and it's pretty easy to make some friends even if it's social outcasts cause there are a lot of those.
Who's dallas here man, where we at ?
SA blows tbqh brethren. It's motto is Keep San Antonio Lame. And they do that quite well. It has a tiny, "trendy", overpriced, hipster filled downtown core flanked by shithole Barrios to the south, cattle ranches to the east and Suburbia to the west and north. The only two oasis from the shitholes are the aforementioned downtown core and a little Island of mediocre surrounding UTSA. Even those places are pretty shitty when you compare them to any other major city in Texas.
SA is absolutely filled with the following annoying types of people:
>Spics
>Fresh out of boot Army and Air Force faggots (nickname is Military City, USA)
>Muh PTSD veterans
>Obese people
>retired old white dudes who love golf, but can't afford Florida
If I could I'd live somewhere else. Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Marcos and Corpus Christi are all much better choices.
>pic related, imo the best city to live in Texas
>>24654737
that looks great
>>24656154
Cypress is boring as phuck. Midtown, River Oaks and Memorial heights are where it's at. Fine pussy everywhere and very few nogs (that aren't homeless guys). Despite the bitching, there's also still a lot of cheap housing.
