in year 9 there was a girl that talked to me occasionally, thus making me instantly fall in love. throughout the next 4 years i learned all her routines, when she was likely to go fill up a waterbottle, what route she takes in between classes and lunch, etc. around the start of year 11 is when i started altering my own routes so that i would 'seemingly' walk past her or end up walking with her most of the time. i realize now looking back that it was really stalkerish but idgaf. the interesting thing is that the more time i spent just casually walking past her or being in her view the more often she would approach me on separate occasions. eventually i learned where she usually sat at the lunch table (all the year 12 class sat at one long table) and sat in a spot near her friend and made sure that she had to sit next to me, somehow she didnt pick up on the fact that i was causing most of these events myself and she started getting closer to me asking me to get stuff out of her hair or trying to share food and shit. but for some reason this was like crossing the sperg line. i realized that i had never actually been close to a girl like that and i just panicked whenever anything even slightly intimate happened always backed off. looking back i realize that i most likely wouldnt have made it with her, but i shut it down after all my years of hard work without even giving myself a chance
