I can find way more of these. Ill do a bit more digging.
In the last thread of this, someone posted a SS from a movie that an anon said was similar to this feel. It was a screenshot of a boy walking through tall grass. I cant seem to find anything like that.
Does anyone else know?

I don't know why I like them, but they evoke a feeling of comfort that you don't matter in this large world.

is this melancholy?
>>24632356
It does too. It reminds me of when I would sit at the foot of my parents bed playing Chrono trigger when it was raining outside until my dad yelled at me to go to bed.
>>24632382
Yes
Reality sure does suck.
>>24631991

I took a trip there before, it was kind of awesome. Even in the rural areas, it feels comfy.
I'm not sure if this counts as melancholy or just outright sadness. It brings to mind something that I've never experienced, and am too old to ever really enjoy. Filename relevant.

I find these two pictures to be sad. Vader is very tragic of course, and the emotional turmoil he had to deal with must have been intense, especially in this scene standing next to the man that made him into the monster he is.
>>24633713
And the second. I alternate these as my desktop wallpaper. They're dark, gloomy and tragic.

>>24633730

>makes me wish I could just cruise through the streets or take a walk as the sun sets while listening to melancholic music.
This is the best feel.
pretty cool thread op.
>>24633892
I like scenes that are dark, sad but beautifully tranquil. Knowing that the setting sun and the amazing multicolored sky setting over the sea is fleeting, but the memory will stay with you forever as you look on from the elegant little tower gazing across the water.
I have a lot of melancholic fantasies. It's the only emotion I feel on a consistent basis.

Sounds cool. I try to experience and savor these sorts of moments whenever I can, and hope that sometime that'll be in my life.
Here's one that blends the majesty of space with the local beauty of earth. I've always wanted to explore space, but I also appreciate how amazing this planet is too. Mixing the two is the best.
>>24634231
yeah, its the only thing I occasionally do that soothes me and makes me feel genuinely relaxed..
If you have the opportunity to do something like that I'd very much recommend it, it doesn't have to be expensive since you can order one drink and just sit with it for hours

It's an early example of cinematic gameplay - there's not really much to do except to follow the small "movie" script you're given. Especially that part whereyou escape into an alien tank and you find yourself inside an alien arena. The crowd goes wild and they cheer for mayhem and you got to press the buttons (all in alien script of course) to fight off the guys shooting at you. It really put you into the shoes of the character who found himself on an alien planet - you have NO fucking idea what to do and you just press buttons, clinging on to hope that you'll make it out of it alive.
It's IMO an achievement in computer gaming.

When American Football reunited, that house was like emo Mecca. My friend found showed me the place, it was only a 10 minute walk from the U of I campus. When we got there, others were already there taking pictures, and more were coming. One of the guys who was living there at the moment came out and talked about how he had no idea it was part of an album cover, especially one of such following and repertoire. He said he'd leave the light on after sunset just like the album cover so people could take pictures.
